“Man, I wish we could've stayed longer to really soak in that nice, clean country house. I found it 'cause I didn't wanna be in the busy town of Coímbra, but it was such a beautiful surprise. Even the drive to Miranda de Corvo is amazing, right at the foot of the mountains with awesome views.The house itself is rustic but with modern touches and gear. “This place is basically a hotel. It is very close to the university. The listing is a little misleading as it is only one room. There is a toilet stall but no privacy for the shower or tub. This is meant for a couple on a romantic getaway, not right for families or friends. There is no parking except on a narrow road which is difficult to navigate. “First impression may be a bit rough, it’s an old small house on a street with construction, but ultimately turned out to be ok, the host Isabel was nice and we had all we needed. A garden patio in the back of the house is actually cute. The only inconvenience we had was no air conditioning, but there were a couple of floor fans.”
