“Alison was such a kind and generous host. The cottage was a perfect country break that was peaceful and homely. The cottage had everything we needed and was a good base to explore cradle mountain from. We picnicked in the yard overlooking mountain ranges, and my girls loved exploring the area and finding all sorts of animals. Would happily recommend Buttons Cottage for a quiet stay to help life slow down and connect with family.”

“We were 6 friends gathering for some road cycling in the area. The location was perfect for our needs and the house easily accommodated us with adequate facilities for preparing meals and socialising after our rides. The house was clean and well equipped and close to Ulverstone or Devonport if you wanted to eat out.”

“We stayed at this great house for a family wedding. We had family traveling from the UK that arrived before check in and Chris was kind enough to let us check in a little early. The property is as described. Plenty of room and loved the deck. Aircon was very helpful as well. The grandkids loved the games room downstairs. The only downsides for us were there wasn’t enough forks (9 or 10) and crockery (plates). This meant we had to hand wash or use the dishwasher very frequently. Also the internet...

“Beautiful property well appointed, comfortable bed, luxurious fit out. Only complaint is that we never received check in details, no it never went to junk mail, and I left 4 voice msgs on the day which went unanswered. Luckily we stumbled across a builder on site who had another contact number. ”

“Beautiful apartment with views across to the beach, and just down the road from the famous Big Penguin. Local eateries very good and a supermarket 3 doors down the road. Well located for visits to Burnie, Ulverstone, Devonport,Gunns plains caves, Cradle mountain and others.”
