“Great location, easy to get to, great big parking, nice little village with a Chinese takeout across the street, a Coop close by. Sadly the cleanliness of the room was poor. Grime in the bathroom where floor meets walls. Very dirty remote control, some kind of sauce spilled on the side of the chest of drawers. Bed linen clean and bed comfortable. The radiator nob not functioning as it should. Should have stayed two nights but left after the first. Sorry, but proper cleaning of the room is so...

“B&B på landsbygden. Stort hemtrevligt rum, tyst miljö. Ägaren mycket tillmötesgående. Frukosten var jättebra, mycket att välja på.”

“Färsk & god frukost.”

“Ett hotell med trevliga rum, bra frukost och centralt beläget. Att en fläkt lät konstant utanför fönstret och att ett trasigt värdeskåp inte lagades trots flera påminnelser drar dock ned betyget.”

“When I booked I didn’t realise it was a self entry hotel but the instructions provided by the manager were clear & easy to follow & I encountered no problems. My room was clean & comfortable with good amenities including a small fridge & microwave & the shower was a decent one. Overall I’d happily stay here again.”

“Nice staff. OK breakfast. Small room but comfortable bed. Bad wifi. Hot water in the shower not particularly hot at all - quite the opposite.”

“A nice B&B with an old host, a unique kind of building from 1909 with lots of old furniture etc inside. The room was fairly small, they lowered the temperature during night, I had to get up early and it was a bit cold in the room in the morning. Few places to sit outside the room at 6 am. The surroundings are in the better end but still close to some fairly rough areas”

“Clean functional rooms. Neat snack bar and bar in communal area with okay coffee. Excellent breakfast and good value. Quiet rural location.”

“The hotel is in a good position for one stop when travelling. We had no hot water, staff were apologetic but they did not have a solution. Handy for motorway services.”

“Lovely welcome from the team on arrival. The room on the top floor was great, comfy bed, good sized room, fridge with fresh milk provided. Really tasty breakfast, available until 12pm which was a nice touch. Friendly place, nice bar and outside area”

“Overall a nice stay but the rooms needed a good clean and some simple renovation. The bed frame/fabric base was all stained, the floor was stained and the window latches all broken so the window was either wide open or shut. A couple of £1 hinges would fix it. Spiders in the shower in both rooms. The staff were great, parking easy, bar was nice. Just needs some simple tlc”

“Great hotel close to the hall if you’re staying for an event. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Nice touch being allowed late check out as no one else was booked in the room that day. Would stay again”
