“Had a great visit here last week for a JMU graduation. Location was a quick 20 minute ride from the house and very convenient to restaurants, shopping, etc., in Harrisonburg. We did try the Ye Olde Coffee House just a quick 6 minutes from the house for wonderful coffee and homemade breakfast bars! Overall the house was clean, well equipped, and we enjoyed the peaceful patio setting during some afternoon downtime. ”

“Beautiful view from the front porch swing overlooking the hills and farm country. Very comfy. We'd stay again. Ferne stocks the fridge and cupboards with everything you'll need!”

“The house overall was good. The upkeep could have been a lot better. There are a few boards on the floor that are coming up. There is a brick that is loose in the family room. In the hallway bathroom, the rack on the wall is broken(a screw is missing) It did feel like the house(inside and outside) was not professionally cleaned in awhile. We came across a few spider webs and spiders in a few corners of the house. We couldn't really enjoy the outside scenery because there were spider webs...

“Its the giant house on the side of the road, parking is by the tree on the hill. Arriving at night was hard to tell, with many small houses around the big house, and drive ways small. Dont let this fool you, this is to help you find it, as the place is amazing to stay. There are many rooms to stay in this house. This one is on 2nd floor, around tight nit stairs on top left. Room photos do not do it justice, its a bedroom / hallwall with bathroom, and den (spare room) very cozy, den is nice and...

“EXCELLENT location for JMU graduation! Our family enjoyed staying so close to campus. We loved sitting on the porch and the driveway was perfect for getting in and out during traffic. Beds were comfortable and home was well appointed. Host was so friendly, allowed us to check in an hour early and communicated quickly. We can't wait to come back for our next JMU visit!”
