âProffsigt men vĂ€nligt och mycket trevligt bemötande, familjĂ€r stĂ€mning, utmĂ€rkt frukost och fascinerande rum, vilka alla var unika i olika storlekar. LĂ€get i centrum innanför murarna var det bĂ€sta, utan trafikljud. Allt till belĂ„tenhet!â
âVi gillade hotell Grand Universe centrala lĂ€ge och den frĂ€scha upplevelsen. Dock var vissa delar av hotellet stĂ€ngt bl.a. skybar, sĂ€kert p.g.a. lĂ„gsĂ€song. Ingen parkeringservice tyvĂ€rr vilket medför rĂ€tt mycket merjobb dĂ„ det Ă€r svĂ„rt med plats i Lucca.
Incheckning tog onödigt lĂ„ng tid... Icke prisvĂ€rd frukost och generellt högre priser men bra service.â

âThe hotel is set in a little area with a community pool and restaurants and the location doesn't seem like it would be nice, but it was fantastic! Just note that the pool does have opening and closing hours, so it's not open past 19:00, which was a disappointment after a long and hot day. But the restaurant that is close to the hotel was amazing, the hotel was clean and had great service.â

"Only there for a short stay, 1 night and we arrived very late. Had contacts with the receptionist which was very helpful. When we arrived later than anticipated it wasnât a problem at all, reception open 24/7 and the late night shift was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately we only stayed for 1 night but from what reception we got I would look forward to stay there again in the future. They were helpful to give us breakfast to go for our next destination. "Clean, new apartment within okay walking distance to Pisa. However very shady experience as we believe someone was scouting the apartment one early morning. Got woken up and heard lots of noises inside then someone opening the door. You get an unique code for your stay to access the building and apartment, but if you can just turn a breaker to disable the lock completely (which we believe is what happened) then it's not really safe. Even more as there is no way to physically lock the door.
There is also a security guard at the reception but most of the time he is not there or asleep. He doesn't speak a word in English or Italian, was supposed to check our passports to match the names to the room but he kept calling us a completely wrong name which feels mission impossible as our names are on the passports he is reading from...
It's sad as the place has much potential but if we cannot feel safe in our rooms I would never recommend anyone else to stay there."
