Our stay included traveling to Chesapeake Inn Restaurant and Marina to experience their cruises, dine at the restaurant, and enjoy their annual car show- this property was maybe 15-20 mins away from Chesapeake City. “Home is well-loved and clean. Kitchen is updated with dishwasher, refrigerator, and gas stove. Microwave is available in armoire. Bathroom has washing machine, walk-in shower, great lighting, and comfy towels.Stairway is typical of an older home with slender passage, however sturdy and secure with metal railings.Stayed in the summer, so A/C window units were a welcomed relief. “The setting is beautiful. We stayed in the mill. It is an old building that was remodeled. An over-all quaint experience with all the modern comforts. The stairs to the room are steep and i wouldn't recommend them for anyone elderly. My husband and 11yo loved it's rustic charm. Wish our schedule allowed more time to check out the farm and walking trails.”
