Check in was a little more detailed than some properties, and there were problems with the wifi, but the property manager was very responsive and addressed the issue quickly.”

“Neil’s place is as described and well located 8 minutes walk from the Scarborough Esplanade - good cafes, restaurants and hotel. Fabulous for sunset watching on the Esplanade. Neil is very generous with his welcome gifts including a bottle of red wine under his own label - I think it was Shiraz. It was nice to have lovely soft white towels (like at home). The beds were not comfortable for us though - only a thin layer of mattress between you and the springs. Overall, a good stay was had by...

“Great location for short term holiday. Easy access to shops and transport if required. Kitchen appliances allow easy self catering, adequate refrigeration space. Would have liked better cooking equipment in the form of saucepans and roasting dish as our stay was in excess of three weeks. Bathroom facilities excellent and laundry appliance well used and appreciated. Overall, very happy with our experience!”

It’s a lovely place, lovely neighbours and great atmosphere. I would actually book this place again if I need somewhere to stay that’s close to the city. ”
