“The Ecolodge Don Felix was a comfortable place to stay while touring in Quillabamba. It’s set in a beautiful spot by the river that is wonderful to listen to through the night. We enjoyed the pool and watching the chickens roaming the site during our stay.”

“I can recommend this sanctuary of a hotel for the beauty, service, breakfast , comfortable bed, sound of the river, trail behind the hotel and the bathtub ( a rare find in the sacred valley. Frank and Lyda were attentive and helpful. They went out of their way for us. I absolutely love room 3, which is on the second floor with a gorgeous view of the river. “We really enjoyed our stay here. The family are super friendly and the small houses on the island are cozy. The family live on the same island so you get the opportunity to know them. They serve good breakfast and also an optional dinner for an extra $10 if you want that. I would recommend bringing warm clothes as it gets quite cold in the evening (october). ”

“The room was clean though didn't have heating or a kitchenette available as advertised on Expedia. Payment was in soles & not USD as advertised on Expedia which caused confusion & I had to pay more than advertised on Expedia. The staff were lovely & helpful & it was the most comfortable bed I had slept in for months. Great view from my room of the mountains & Inka site & great breakfast too. Would recommend though some things need changing on Expedia website.”

“One of the best travel experiences I have had. Xavier and Erica are incredible hosts and people. The lodge and grounds are beautiful. Filled with beautiful plants , trees, and flowers. The lodge feels like an old ruin brought back to life. The rooms are beautiful and very rustic. The beds are extremely comfortable. Beautiful dining room for meals. The lodge is peaceful, quiet, and a short moto taxi ride from downtown. Lastly, two charming German sheapards make the lodge feel like a home away...
