âIf you use a wheelchair make sure you state this when booking. Accessible suites are only available on the 2nd floor and the lift does not go to the third floor. We were on the third so we had some steps to use and drag the chair up. An access ramp is at the side of the building but, if you cannot do stairs, you have to wheel through the outside bar patio in the front, into the back of the bar, through the restaurant and out into the lobby. âWe did a 3 night break. The staff were very friendly great people. Lovely social sitting areas. Nice bar and coffee area. The bed room very spacious, beds were clean the bathroom was clean but no window and the vent didnât work so it smelt damp. We kept the door shut and once we had our showers the smell was not so bad. âFantastic place totally out of the ordinary. Five-star attention by the staff made us feel welcome from the start. Great romantic room and Full English breakfast served at the table. We had dinner in the cosy restaurant with a menu leaning heavily on seafood, for obvious reasons. After a walk along the seafront we came back for a coffee in the nice pub-part of the restaurant. âTrevligt hotell med trevligt personal. NĂ€ra till fĂ€rjan men ligger avsides sĂ„ man störs inte av trafik. Hade inga problem med ljud men vi Ă„kte inte under sĂ€song sĂ„ det var lite lugnare pĂ„ hotellet.â
âGorgeous room and lovely decor overall although a few things were broken opun arrival e.g. One of the blinds pull strings was snapped and one of the plant pots was crackes.
The staff were very courteous and helpful.
I would rate higher but the rooom did not come with any bath products or a hair dryer, and the tea and coffee was kept in the hallway between the rooms rather than having a selection in the room.
Will definitely stay again if this is fixed. â
âStayed here for a night booked online really late at night and was greeted at reception by a very pleasant and helpful young lad whose manners and customer service were second to none (very good), the hotel lobby, hallways and room is exceptionally clean to a high standard and the room was to a high standard. Will be coming back for a longer stay next time and would certainly recommend to friends and family or people in general đâ
