“Stayed in Winona with a girlfriend and attended Ashley for the Arts. Easy commute to Arcadia, WI. Only one complaint and that was our lack of time to take in all Winona has to offer. The VRBO had everything we needed and then some. Cute place to stay, walking distance to Lake Winona and a few blocks to WSU. Highly recommend. ”

“Lynn's home in the woods was the perfect spot to stay while attending a family reunion. The setting back in the woods is beautiful with all the flora and fauna. Lynn made sure there was a run down of all the activities in the area, as well as favorite things to do in the woods and streams around the house. We went in the heat of July so care had to be taken to keep the house cool and well ventilated. The whole home was very well stocked, we wanted for nothing. Thanks for letting us stay!”

“Very remote and secluded location for total privacy. We enjoyed the fire pit, cornhole, giant Jenga, pool table, and outdoor exploring. It was perfect for our family group of 9 ranging in ages from 12-80.The property is about equal distance from Rushford and Houston so we explored both communities as well as visiting Lanesboro during Buffalo Bill Days. "This was my first visit to Lanesboro for a fly fishing adventure, and staying at the Green Gables Inn made the whole experience even more memorable! The room was spotless, cozy, and felt like a true home away from home. The property itself is a gem—nestled right along the river, with beautiful gardens and plenty of peaceful spots to sit back and enjoy the view. Birdwatchers and wildlife lovers, take note: there’s no shortage of feathery and furry visitors to keep you company. The owners were absolutely wonderful—genuinely kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. They made me feel like an old friend from the moment I arrived. Already counting down the days till next year’s trip. Green Gables Inn, you’ve officially earned a repeat customer! "
