Clearly a well-loved family home and the beautiful house also has a fantastic outdoor area and an extra dining space, which is also well equipped, down near the pool and garden. A gorgeous region, but we could have quite easily spent every day in the beautiful house and by the pool. “This is a beautiful traditional style French house of the region. It is a bit rustic in places, but absolutely packed with charm and character. The location is amazing - what you see in the photos is exactly how it is. The river is a 60-second walk away with easy access in and out of the water. The village is pretty, quiet and within 10 minutes drive of a E.Leclere supermarket and the main road. The house is spacious, has bags of character, has a fabulous outdoor space with chairs, sun-loungers...

“Had a lovely 2 weeks in this very old character full house. Francis and Mary were lovely hosts and made us feel welcome. The weather was very hot so the pool was a godsend! Village bakery was great for breakfast bread and croissants. Only complaint was in 2 weeks we were not given clean bed linen and towels.”

“We have had a fantastic stay here, cannot fault the house, it is spacious, clean, and has everything you could need particularly the kitchen etc. The pool is chilled and the gardens are lovely . It is a perfect location to explore the region , we did several wine tasting tours and explored Bordeaux, St Emilion and Libourne. Michel was very helpful with anything we asked for . Would recommend this property .”

“Virginie is a gracious and generous host. Always around if you need her, but keeping her distance when you want some down time. The house is beautiful and the beds were so comfortable. The setting was glorious and we all enjoyed the many and various sunsets. Lots to do in the surrounding area, but we mostly chose to relax around the little hamlet. Lots of pleasant walks around the vineyards. There was a little noise on Saturday nights from the property next door, which is a wedding venue, but...

We would recommend letting prospective visitors know about the narrow circular stairway up to living quarters. Some older or disabled folks (or anyone with large luggage) will find the climb a challenge. Also, bring your own toilet paper, hand soap and dish-washing soap.”

“Fantastiskt rent och snyggt och förstås mycket rymligt. LGV ligger i utkanten av Libourne och är granne med vinodlingar (Merlot från St Emilion). Det är lätt att ta sig härfifrån till gårdarna i Pomerol, St Emilion och Fronzac. Välkomnande och hjälpsam service. Rekommenderas verkligen!”
