“This was a great place. We had a small issue at the beginning but the owner addressed it immediately and was very communicative.We liked the view of tie tennis courts and it was a short walk to the marina and the golf club. The kitchen was appointed well for our purposes. The cafe is within walking distance and they are very friendly there.”

“We got there the location is actually a little hard to understand, but we found it. The house is not the cleanest. It smelt like it was moldy. There was no coffee cups for the coffee. There was a roll and a half of toilet paper no hot water in the one shower and the other shower wouldn’t turn on at all. One towel and one washcloth and one bathroom Two washcloths two towels and the other bathroom the beds were very nice and clean, but overall not what I’m used to there was no book to tell us...

“Beautiful views. We had deer visit us everyday in the backyard. A couple minute walk can bring you to the beach, or to The Mill for coffee and ice cream. Nice high pressure in the showers. Comfortable beds. Truly a home away from home feel. We stayed 7 nights, and would stay again. Close to all the area highlights. Great host, quick to respond. Thank you, Fred!”

“Loved Karaoke but wish it was every night”

“The apartments were great. I wish i knew in advance that I needed artificial fireligs (I thought it was a gas fireplace) and a lighter to light the fire. Also, a heads up about pans being inside the ovens would have helped. Otherwise, worth the stay.”

“We had a two bedroom suite that I booked through VRBO….that was the only part that made me apprehensive. I received communication shortly before our arrival date that suggested I should pretend to know the owners to avoid aggressive time share pitches. It really wasn't bad…maybe because I was not there with a spouse. Anyway, the property was clean, spacious, affordable, and filled with a variety of entertainment. It was eight minutes to Colonial Williamsburg and about eleven minutes to Publix...

“We love Kingsmill. It is peaceful, pretty and convenient. This condo has a great view of the river, and a nice big family room/kitchen for people to gather. We came for my daughter's graduation from college and the grandparents stayed with us too. It was great to be where they could take walks and enjoy the quiet away from campus. Harris Teeter is close for groceries and we could do laundry right in the condo. It was easy to eat at the Kingsmill restaurants also. We didn't have access to the gym...
