What we did not like about our stay has already been shared. While the hotel itself is beautiful, the bed was extremely hard and very uncomfortable.
More importantly, we were not provided with a receipt. We stayed at the hotel and checked out, yet were refused a receipt afterward. We were under the assumption—based on every other hotel we’ve stayed at—that a receipt would be emailed automatically after checkout. This has always been the standard for travelers.
If we had been informed that a physical, in-person checkout was required in order to receive a receipt, we would have done so. Unfortunately, this was not communicated to us at any point.
The difficulty in obtaining a simple receipt that confirms we stayed and paid for the room is unacceptable. Because of this experience, we will not stay at this hotel again.
