Great new listing has relaxing ZEN decor with a large balcony overlooking a peaceful lake. Our community features an amazing Cacti Garden with boulders, plants, agave, and cacti. A one-mile, paved walking trail meanders around the lake. There is fishing in the lake with a catch and release policy. Our tennis courts are also lined for pickle ball. We provide 2 fishing poles, 4 tennis rackets, and 4 pickle ball paddles.

We have other condos in this wonderful community with a total of over 400 5-star reviews! Customer satisfaction is our number one goal, along with providing a spotless and serene space for you to relax in.

Watch the turtles, ducks and swans from the comfort of your private outdoor space.
You can walk around the lake on the boardwalk to admire the babbling creek and the gushing waterfall. During one stroll, a guest counted 32 turtles around the lake!

You can watch TV in the living room on the 75" TV or see your favorite shows on the new 50" flat-screen HD smart-television from the comfort of your king-size memory foam mattress bed in the privacy of your tranquil master suite. Free WiFi, Free Wireless Internet

The community offers a HEATED swimming pool surrounded by palms, cactus and beautiful bougainvillea, where you can spend the day or evening simply relaxing. Next to the pool is a brand new hot tub and private tennis & pickle ball courts. Our unit is steps away from the pool.

A great vacation that is minutes from all of the metro area's greatest attractions.
Immediate neighborhood has many restaurants to choose from including: Pappadeaux Seafood, Olive Garden, Bobby-Q's (voted best in the US), Red Lobster, Lone Star, OutBack Steakhouse, Sizzler, Chili's, plus many more. Easy access to highways - located 1 block from the I-17. Close to all the fantastic sporting events and Spring Training. And best of all.. .only 18 minutes to/from the airport (non-rush hour).

In an effort to be good neighbors, we want to keep the noise and traffic to a minimum. We have additional rules below. We do make exceptions to these rules on a case by case basis.

Lovely view from the balcony, shaded and spacious. We had coffee there every morning. The pond is safe to walk in the evening and is securely gated. Everyone in the complex was friendly and spoke highly of the complex and the owners. I understand why the netting was installed in the balcony opening, however I was initially disappointed to see it as the online picture showed an unobstructed view. We got used to it after a while.The unit is tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. The high ceilings make it feel spacious. Check in was straight forward. When the modem didn't work the owner followed up and replaced it. The kitchen had a good supply of dishware and it was great to have a Keurig and regular coffee maker.We usually stay in Scottsdale and while it's an older part of Phoenix it was proximal to the 17.For a quiet getaway, we would stay there again:)

Perfect and just like described!

This property surpassed what we expected, very nice area, very private on a lake with a walking path around it. This is on the 3rd floor, so the big balcony overlooking the lake was as fantastic in the morning as it was at sunset. Very clean, comfy beds, great deco... we will stay again and recommend this beautiful VRBO property!

Spring Break

Great place for our family to relax. Being from Seattle, this sunshine stay was just what we needed. The unit is clean, quiet, safe and close enough to shops. Great heated pool and appreciated the lake walking path. Communication was excellent and we felt like a priority to our host.

This was not a destination-style resort (not that it claimed to be) but was very nice. Elevator was inconvenient in that you had to walk up or down a half flight of stairs to get to it.

Arizona Spring Training & Golf Trip

Condo worked out perfect! Three adults three bedrooms! Perfect location.Friends taught me pickleball on the provided courts and condo paddles/ballsThe balcony was great! Relaxing. Large. Seating Nice view! The size of the condo was perfect for us. And assigned parking was a big plus. Host was VERY responsive. Including last minute restaurant recommendations.

Beautiful Condo, great complex

We came to escape the cold! Desert Shores is a great complex. We loved the beautiful walking path, with the lake and all kinds of birds. The pool area was awesome and the heated pool was so nice! We loved playing pickleball, with the paddles and balls provided. Pool towels and noodles are provided. The kitchen is very well stocked It is fixed up very nice, we would definitely stay here again.

Dessert Shores Review

I have rented from this property owner for two years in a row(different units same complex). This unit was extremely clean, quiet, had ample supply of linens, bedding, dishes, and household items (tennis racquets, pickle ball racquets, pool towels etc.). The pool and tennis/pickle ball courts were easily accessible, clean, spacious and free of damage and or hazards. The complex is well lit (when dark) and easy to navigate. There was an elevator with easy access close to this unit, which was handy for bringing luggage in and out, as it is a third story unit. The balcony over looking the pond was spacious, clean and a very relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the scenery. The balcony overlooks the pond that has an abundance of a variety of ducks, Canada Geese, and turtles. The beds and seating were all very comfortable enhancing ones ability to have a restful stay. This location is close to an abundance of amenities all within a very reasonable distance. The owner was very professional, even checking in with us during our stay to ensure that everything was meeting our expectations. I would stay here again and recommend to others without hesitation. It was a true "home away from home for us!"

Spring Break Getaway

Beautiful place

The condo was clean, well supplied, beautifully decorated and has a gorgeous view of the lake, lots of ducks and geese and turtles. Everything was very comfortable and was quiet (didn’t notice neighbors at all and the ones we did come across were super friendly). There wasn’t any fish in the lake which one of the neighbors told us was because of the pumps being down and hasn’t been stocked for the year. The estate complex, pool, and tennis courts were clean and well maintained. The walk around the lake was great and felt safe (but the surrounding area did not feel safe and was pretty run down).

Taste of Spring

We came to Phoenix for a taste of spring and some spring training baseball. Millie’s place is a wonderful condo with everything you need for relaxing mornings and evenings on the balcony overlooking the lake. We enjoyed the property’s pool and hot tub as well as the walking paths around the lake. It is a tranquil little spot in the middle of the urban sprawl.

Excellent Glendale stay with extras

Millie is a super helpful host! She has everything arranged for an enjoyable stay: fishing poles, pickleball paddles, crockpot, all of the kitchen basics for meals. Although we ended up staying during a cold rainy snap, we were thankful for the locked walking path. The hot tub and pool are kept exceptionally pristine. The only comments I might mention are not within Millie’s control: this area is declining with aging properties. This complex is not gated with a bit of trash in the parking lot. Bring a method for white noise and light blocking, which is common for condo complexes. Within a few minutes of any kind of food and shopping you may want, but it is in the aging Metro Mall area. Always felt safe and secure. Good people seems to live here.

Perfect setting for a family get together over the Holiday

Our stay was awesome. The rental was exactly as shown on VRBO site. The owners were very nice and answered questions immediately. This rental is in an area loaded with stores, restaurants and other places to create thanksgiving dinner. An excellent choice.

Lakefront Zen Condo

We very much enjoyed our stay at the condo. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals or just enjoy coffee. Pool towels, extra bath towels, fishing poles, etc. were an added plus. Owner was easy to contact and easy to work with. We would stay again if we were to visit the area in the future.

What a beautiful condo!

We had an amazing stay at the Lakefront Zen condo. It was very peaceful. Cathedral ceilings really added to the spacious feel. Everyone in our group loved the décor and the comfortable beds. We walked the lake trail every morning and counted dozens of turtles. We will definitely return.
