“Would 100 % recommend this cozy small hotel! Best hotel on the hole trip. Lovely staff in the calm town Uzelina. The rooms were clean and beautiful and it was easy to take a taxi to Velas. You have access to a kitchen where you can make tea, coffees and eat homemade cookies. Beautiful view from the hotel room over Pico. ”

“We had a truly lovely stay at this charming guesthouse. The owner and her husband are without a doubt the sweetest people we met during our trip. On the morning of our departure, her husband even offered, completely on his own initiative, to drive us to the ferry. That level of kindness and hospitality is rare these days and deserves to be recognized. The place itself is spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. There’s a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout, with a beautiful common area...

“Un appartement parfaitement équipé pour un long séjour (lave-vaisselle, lave linge, congélateur, fer à repasser…). Très bien équipé et propre. Un joli petit balcon avec une vue sur la marina et Pico. Idéalement situé pour profiter d’Horta. Une personne adorable à l’accueil et un prix imbattable pour couronner le tout ! Au top”

“I was confused about how the key code entry worked, and the office sent someone to help us right away. From then on, things went fine. The main reason we picked them was their involvement in science and research, and a tour we received was beyond our expectations. It was arranged on last minute request and made our brief stay the highlight of our 18 days in the islands.”
