“Wonderful studio that overcame our expectations. Perfectly situated one step to the church and the ferry terminal. Madalena as such isn‘t spectacular, but a lovely little community. Very kind manager, easy to reach, no probs! Very pleased that it gave the possibility not to change towels every day and not to clean every day - eco responsible!”

“This was a no-frills, simple hotel. It was a great value, and was clean, quiet, and relaxing. The staff were so kind, and laid back. The view from the patio in our room was lovely. The shared kitchen area was a nice place to cook a meal, and there were three adorable cats around the property who we loved petting. The location was great for exploring various parts of Pico. ”

“Would 100 % recommend this cozy small hotel! Best hotel on the hole trip. Lovely staff in the calm town Uzelina. The rooms were clean and beautiful and it was easy to take a taxi to Velas. You have access to a kitchen where you can make tea, coffees and eat homemade cookies. Beautiful view from the hotel room over Pico. ”

“Great location, clean, comfortable bed. Only issue was that there is no full time reception, at least in the off-season, so when I went to drop my bag off without notice, nobody was there. But they were very responsive and let me in quite quickly.”
