“This is the best place to stay in Pietermaritzburg! The location is perfect for anyone affiliated with the university - literally across the street. You can have breakfast and supper - both excellent - and the hosts are extremely hospitable and helpful. We arrived with a flat tire, and Gys helped us get a new car the next morning. I have seldom experienced a home away from home as warm and welcoming as Ridge on 79. ”

The owner Tina was an incredibly sweet and kind lady.
