“We stayed the weekend at Bear Bluff retreat to hike nearby state parks and view the waterfalls. It was perfect! The cabin is exactly as pictured. Everything is new and the amenities are well thought out giving you everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is convenient and the view is spectacular! We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the sunsets and peace each evening and a calm cup of coffee each morning. The star gazing is amazing! I haven’t seen that many stars in years....

“Beautiful, peaceful setting. Loved the cabin and all the farm animals. Lots of nice touches throughout the property. We enjoyed a day of relaxing on the lake between hike days. We used the canoe, enjoyed fishing, and had our first experience with kayaking. Also enjoyed a walk around the lake. Loved our two doggie mascots and the ponies. Saw the pig and a cat but only saw the peacocks from a distance. We had lots of laughs with the rooster. He certainly took his job seriously. We highly recommend...
