Hotell nära Piney Point Public Use Area

The hotel is somewhat in a need of renovation and surprisingly shabby for being a member of the Choice Hotels chain but on the other hand, the rooms are large size, beds are good, TV has a large number of channels and the breakfast is very good vs. other hotels (much more expensive) in Oxford. Also open WiFi that worked to 100% and easy access with car and plenty of parking just outside Your door. The shower has one speed, our door to the restroom was unlockable and...

“I misunderstood the desk clerk and went to the wrong room (124 instead of 134). My key worked! The room overall was ok - it was clean. But my initial thought was it was a smoking room. The longer I was in the room, the less it smelled like smoke. It just smelled bad. If I moved around during the night, the bed mattress moved (kind of scary). The mattress felt like it had springs in it. Very uncomfortable. The shower did not work. Great water pressure but no shower. I could not get...

“The staff were very nice and welcoming, which made the stay pleasant. Breakfast was pretty nice and a good start to the day. Unfortunately, parking was a major issue. When the hotel is full, there isn’t enough parking for guests. I was even told to park at a nearby business, but their lot was full as well, which made things pretty frustrating. Definitely something to consider if you’re staying during a busy time.”

“Underbart hotell nära universitetsområdet. En kort promenad till torget där massor av restauranger och affärer fanns. Rummet var fräscht och fint och personalen vid front desk var mycket trevliga.”

“Everything was great except none of the ice machines worked. Front desk staff didn’t seem to care. The shuttle drivers were fabulous and very courteous. Really enjoyed our stay except for no ice and some of the vending machines were out of order as well.”

“Mycket fräscht hotell med lägenhetsliknande rum med plats för viss egen matlagning. Riktigt bra säng och badrum. Nackdelen är placeringen i ett trist område utanför Oxford och utan möjlighet att promenera in till stan. Vilket är typiskt USA, förstås. Frukosten är tråkig och torftig. Som helhet dock ett mycket bra alternativ för en enstaka övernattning.”
