“We had a great stay at the Hampton Inn. Front desk staff was helpful with recommendations for restaurants while in the area to explore Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Wall Drug, Badlands etc.”

“We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Rapid City for one week. Overall, the property was nice, and we appreciated the warm cookies offered in the evening as well as the lemon ice water available in the lobby. Unfortunately, there were some issues during our stay. My husband, who has Alzheimer’s, stepped on something while barefoot in our room and cut his foot. We couldn’t find what caused the injury at the time, but after returning home, an ER doctor removed a small piece of glass from his foot. This...

“We arrived late and they sent their shuttle to pick us up at the airport. They have nice, warm cookies for guests. Nothing near the hotel except the convention center so they make the shuttle available to get to town/ rental car pick up point. Hotel very empty. Staff friendly. Nice, comfortable room and very good price/value.”

“I stayed here for 5 days while a family member was in Rapid City for a medical procedure. Overall it was ok, they are either in the middle of remodeling or just finished but here is my review: Staff: nice and accommodating. Had to book another night last minute and was able to get my same room back after check out Food: breakfast was very scarce. A half gallon of milk in lobby fridge. No fruit. Juice machine was broken. “Clean room”

“The front desk staff are all friendly. However, I rated the person in the breakfast area 3 stars. While we were having breakfast, she made us feel unwelcome to eat. She is also yelling at other guests. I was about to give 5 stars, and I usually tip the breakfast attendants wherever we go. Hopefully, someone will inform her not to disturb guests while they are having breakfast in peace.”

“Not worth the price we paid for the rooms. Mattress was comfortable. But carpeting was dirty in the lobby, stairs, and rooms. Didn't even look vacuumed. No elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, difficult to get to 2nd floor. Free breakfast should have been listed as limited continental, consisting of coffee, cereal & a do it yourself waffle maker. The locks on the back & side entrances were broken, so propped open with a rock.”
