The hot tub and outdoor movie screen are perfect for relaxing after a day of outdoor activities including hiking at nearby Pisgah National Forest. “Our dogs were very happy about the thick grass around the property. I didn’t bring their beds, but I went to the Dollar General and bought a rug for them, which softened the hardwood floors. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this old stone house. It reminded me of relatives homes from the distant past. There’s only one small bathroom, but since it’s just the two of us, it was fine. We loved the break from the everyday bustle.”
