The cottage is perfect for a couple, the view is stunning and the sunsets new every evening. North Cool Street provides a perfect place to walk each day with shade and often a breeze. It is an easy walk to town and several restaurants are close by. We always leave looking forward to our next visit.”

“The property is ideally situated near the water fall - it is literally in the back yard to view. To hike to get a better look , you are short walk away from it and the scenic trails—once we parked, we didn’t feel the need to leave. It’s incredibly peaceful and serene, making it the perfect escape for a quiet weekend getaway. You can shop for groceries at the little downtown store or go to Fort Payne-if you need more variety. “Excellent stay and the house was the perfect size for us. Screen porch was wonderful and kitchen was reasonably well equipped. Only minus was the slipperiness of the shower floors (inside the tub). I am 76 and my balance isn’t great but I had to hold onto the grab bar all through my shower. Suggest providing a shower mat for people to use if they need it. We loved the house and location.”

“Open design with elements of mid century and modern day mixed. I like older homes for their lived in feel. The furnishings in the bed rooms and the vintage paint by number paintings are my favorite. I’ll definitely stay there again. The deck on the back of the house provides a great view off the brow.”
