âThe staff was incredibly accommodating and always quick to help with anything we needed. Anytime we asked for something, they came right away with a smile, which really made us feel taken care of. The pools were beautiful and relaxing, and we really enjoyed spending time at the pool bar. We also loved exploring El Tunco at night. The town is full of life with music, shops, and people walking around, which made the experience even more memorable. Overall, we had a fun and relaxing stay.â
âVery nice stay. Loved that El Tunco is right behind the property.. access to beach, restaraunts all in the backyard. The staff was great. Wanted to leave (late check out) and was told we couldnât after calling the night before because someone booked the room. That was disappointing but we were able to stay on the resort until 4pm. Room was small for two if you want space but amazing view, clean, food was okay and bar was a nice vibe. Got a massage for 1 hour for $50. All in all had a great time!â
âTunco is a quaint beach town were surfing is the primary attraction. A walk along the streets, shops, and street vendors make for a colorful experience but be prepared to sweat as virtually nothing is air conditioned except our hotel room that was a great refuge from the heat. This hotel was the right place to stay and we will return. Wait staff in restaurant was only average, but rest of staff was great! Breakfast ok with no substitution made choice more complicated... â

âIt's about a 10 minute walk to Sunzal beach - so in that sense the property is very convenient for surfing. That being said, there's very little in the immediate area of the hotel, and it's about a 25-30 minute walk to El Tunco. I rented a motorcycle, so that wasn't much a problem for me.
