Copthorne, centralt och lättillgängligt.
Fin lobby och restaurang och bra service. Städningen var mycket bra. Rummet vi bodde i är i behov av renovering. Slitet badrum som sett sina bästa dagar. En toalett som krävde att man pumpade handtaget upprepade gånger för att få igång spolningen. Smal dubbelsäng men skön fasthet. Extra kuddar fanns i garderoben. God och generös frukostbuffé med både Full English Breakfast och kontinental frukost som vi köpte i förväg för bästa pris.

The hotel was good value for what we paid. It is convenient for the railway station and for the Theatre Royal. The room was very dusty, there was a thick layer of dust on the bedside lamps and other surfaces. At least the bathroom was clean.

The Hotel was within walking distance of the train station and the Theatre. Right next door to Sainsbury's. The beds were comfortable and we made use of the ceiling fan. There was a great choice of breakfast and the staff were pleasant and professional. The down side was that wallpaper was starting to peel off in the bedroom of 303, Remember to mention if you have difficulty with stairs when you book as there are stairs to the reception , apparently there is a lift around the rear of the Hotel.oh and the television wouldn't turn on, I think the batteries were flat. I could have rung reception but I was enjoying the rest. Before you book, join the Millennium Group, Get discounts and little extras for free. Enjoy

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel was easy to get to and was situated centrally with a wonderful walk straight through the town centre to the lighthouse. We have stayed here once before and would definitely stay again.

I have stayed here a number of times. Unfortunately on this occasion the hotel did not have a record of my booking. The receptionist was very helpful but even with the help of the office and hotel manager it could not be found despite me showing my confirmation email. This was quite embarrassing although eventually they booked me in having still not been able to confirm my reservation. Obviously a glitch in the system.

Disappointing that the bar closed at 10.30. A group of us got back just after this soaking wet form the horrendous weather hoping for a few drinks to be told it was closed

We sincerely appreciate your feedback but we are very disappointed to see from your scoring and comment.I have noted your comments on certain aspects of our current décor being dated and bland. We are very aware of these shortcomings and as you noticed, we are in process of refurbishing and replacing furnishings in many areas of the property. I have no doubt that this, together with refreshed operating standards will significantly improve our guest experiences as we complete these initiatives.
