Hotell nära Pocela Centre

“Vi bodde där 2 nätter och kan verkligen rekommendera boendet! Något hårda sängar, men det beror på vad man är van vid!”

“Beautiful property, clean, tidy excellent location in a quiet small village. Plenty of room for our family of 5 and everything you need. Would definitely book again”

“We booked this as a last minute booking and wasn't sure ehat we were expecting but wow what a place! Beautifully designed, nice and relaxing. Staff couldnt do enough and great value for the rooms, Breakfast was lovely too! Only 20 minutes away from York City Centre will definitely be staying again”

“A great place to stay with very helpful and pleasant staff.”

“Was a beautiful stay, the room was really clean, the property well maintained. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again or advise anyone to stay ☺️ thankyou!”

“It was a really nice hotell and the service was excellent! Only negtive was that it was a bit cold in the room, everything else was fantastic!”

“Property lovely, high standard interior. Staff on reception felt a little awkward as if on guard sat at a desk near the stairs but were always friendly. Access was a little difficult due to cars parked around the entrance to the car park. I guess to avoid the additional charge per night extra charge which we paid. Upon leaving our car was covered in tree sap but it will wash off. We stayed for 4 days and no one came into our room to empty our bins, replenish toiletries or restock the hot drink...

“York var för oss en mycket trevlig upplevelse. Charmig och fin stad att vandra omkring i med bra shopping. Hotellet ligger perfekt, precis utanför stadsmuren. Service och hjälpsamhet hos hotellets ägare lämnar inget i övrigt att önska. Kan verkligen rekommendera York och detta hotell!”

“We have stayed here before and thought it was good. This time we were in the Coach House instead of the older building. It tried to be characterful but wasn't. It was probably built in the 80s and what little work that had been done on it since was not done well. It was tired and shabby. There were flies in the room, going into the bathroom and then sitting on the pillows! There were also flies in the Fat Abbot restaurant and the food left a lot to be desired, not the highly rated bistro pub...

“This is my favourite place to stay. Clean rooms with everything you need for a short stay. The food is amazing and plenty of choice. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Highly recommend”

“The hotel was clean, and the room was comfortable. However, the staff were not particularly friendly. The reception staff seemed uninterested, and the service at breakfast was also quite unfriendly. A warm welcome and a more positive attitude from the staff would have made the stay much more enjoyable. Overall, the cleanliness was good, but the customer service was disappointing.”

“Fint”

“Such a great experience! Great, friendly hosts and great location. Clean room and the coffee station and cold waters were a nice bonus!”

“nära till lokal pub och till York,”
