"A little piece of Tuscany we genuinely didn’t want to leave There are hotels you enjoy, and then there are places that become part of the journey itself. Hotel Borgo San Luigi was exactly that for us. From the moment we arrived, the beautiful historic buildings, gardens, pool and peaceful surroundings gave us that wonderful Tuscan feeling we had hoped for. The location is fantastic for exploring Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Florence, Pisa and the many charming villages nearby, yet the hotel itself is so relaxing that some days you simply don’t want to leave. The food deserves a special mention. Breakfast was a lovely start to every morning, and the restaurant genuinely impressed us with wonderful Italian flavours, beautifully prepared dishes and a relaxed atmosphere that made dinner part of the experience. Most of all, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Warm, attentive and friendly without ever feeling formal or rehearsed, exactly the kind of hospitality that gives a place its soul. Borgo San Luigi feels like the Tuscany you dream about before arriving: old stone buildings, beautiful gardens, warm evenings, great food, a glass of wine and absolutely no reason to hurry. We arrived expecting a lovely hotel. We left feeling we had found our little corner of Tuscany. Five stars without hesitation, we will be back. ❤️🇮🇹"

"Den här agriturismo-gården hade vi sett fram emot i ett år. Vi hade betalt över €700 och skulle få uppleva en magisk plats i två dygn. När vi kom fram insåg vi att vårt ”Classic”-rum låg på andra våningen med utsikt mot parkeringen. Bland bilderna från hotellets marknadsföring finns inga bilder från det rum vi fick. Rummet var kraftigt eftersatt, med smuts i varje hörn av badrummet. Märken på väggarna. Sneda tavlor. Lampor som hängde lite löst. Enklare möbler (vilket Classic-rummen har). Badrummet hade en duschkabin med gammal smuts i skarven mot kaklet. Smutsiga fogar, smutsiga golvlister. Långt ifrån den känsla som vi hade sett fram emot. Vi meddelade personalen och bad att få byta rum, men fick höra att det inte gick pga fullbokat. Dagen efter hörde vi dock ett annat par checka in i rummet bredvid, så vi undrar om det verkligen var fullbokat. Sängen och kuddarna var dock väldigt sköna och vi sov riktigt gott. Hotellets område är i övrigt ren magi. Restaurangen och frukosten är 100% superb. Ivan som serverade oss på kvällarna är en oerhört lyhörd, trevlig och skicklig servitör. Poolen var vacker, svalkande, med ett generöst antal parasoller och solstolar. Vi hade full service hela dagarna. Drycker, lunch, snacks, middag, allt vi behövde gick att beställa."

"A beautiful historic monastery full of charm and character. The building and surroundings are stunning, offering a peaceful and unique atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and beautifully maintained, perfectly matching the historic setting. The food was absolutely delicious, with excellent local flavors and wonderful service throughout our stay. A truly special place that we would happily visit again. Highly recommended!"

"Wow – what an amazing place! Fattoria di Vegi exceeded all of our expectations. It is an absolutely beautiful property with breathtaking views over the vineyards and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The food was outstanding – every meal was a true delight. There are also plenty of fun activities for both adults and children, including billiards, the swimming pool, padel, listening to vinyl records, and even painting in their beautiful art studio. These little touches made our stay even more special. Everything combined created an unforgettable experience in the heart of Tuscany. We will definitely be coming back and can highly recommend Fattoria di Vegi to anyone looking for a unique and authentic Tuscan getaway!"

"Magnifikt! Jag är vanligtvis väldigt kräsen och har höga krav på boende och service. Detta uppfyllde alla våra förväntningar, och MER. Rummen var bekväma, personalen jättebra, poolområdet lugn och bekvämt. Allt var toppen. Som enda kommentar är att hotellet gärna skulle få ha varit Adults Only. Vi som kommer hit vill ju ha lugn och ro i den toscanska myllan. Vi kommer gärna hit igen!"
