  • Idyllisk strandpromenad lättillgänglig från Sydney med tåg. Detta är ett familjehem med fantastisk panoramautsikt över vattnet, med tillgång till en privat brygga - BYO egen båt för den perfekta vattnet. Den centrala platsen är oslagbar-en 1 minuters promenad från järnvägsstationen och en Aldi-stormarknad, en 7 minuters bilresa från Gosford centrum med underbara nöjesfaciliteter och restauranger. 1. 5 timmar från Sydney med direkt tåg från Central Station till Point Clare!
    Huset är nyligen möblerat, två våningar högt, med bakgård och bakgård utrymme. Det finns två vardagsrum med både golv till tak glasskjutdörrar med panoramautsikt över vattnet. Det finns tre sovrum, med en queen size-säng, en dubbelsäng och respektive två enkelsängar, sov totalt 6 personer. Det finns tre badrum på två våningar. Det finns också ett komplett kök och tvättstuga med allt du behöver för en bekväm vistelse. Färskt sängkläder tillhandahålls i alla rum, inklusive handdukar.
    Gästerna får tillgång till hela hemmet, med undantag för garaget och grillen.
    Gäster får inte ha fester, röka eller göra höga ljud efter 22:00.

Weekend work getaway

A wonderful property with plenty of space and views to write home about.The property was clean and Helen was friendly, prompt and easy to deal with.We will definitely be back for sure.

Fabulous place

What a joy waking up to the view every morning, and the sunrises were spectacular. The house was perfect for a family stay. It was large enough for everyone to stay and not be on top of each other. Helen was a very attentive host and had equipped the beautiful house with everything you could need. We really enjoyed our week's stay, especially the extra "guests" in the front garden, where Mama Duck had laid a dozen eggs. We were excited to see a couple hatch before we left. We would definitely recommend this home.

Family reunion

My son was visiting from UK and wanted a nice quiet place to stay. We were concerned when we realised that it was opposite the railway line-but once in the house you hear nothing. Kitchen is well equipped and all was in working order. It would have been great to have some board or card games available. it is just a perfect place not to do anything and laze around on the deck. Helen was quick in responding to queries.

Celebration

Fantastic location for people to gather for a celebration. Great for travellers from Sydney/Newcastle and interstate as the train line that links all places is in walking distance. Plenty of parking too for cars. The layout of the house too lends itself for a fun time with an amazing view to top it off. Please note however Jetty is not suitable for boats to tie up due to the low low tide. Also a larger fridge to accommodate 8 people is needed. Host was very responsive to any questions we needed. House was spotless and well equipped with provisions. A very memorable time was had by all. Many thanks.

Absolutely stunning view and a great location

The view is fantastic, the property is large and open, and overall there is nothing to complain about. I do have a few remarks, you can't swim in the water (due to council rules-but, many beaches are close), a few extra towels would be great (just in case of getting one dirty accidentally), and the place is a bit old (guessing built in the 70s-80s?), but you'll only notice the age with some of the fittings and style. Nevertheless, the price is well suited to this house on all fronts. I will happily go back again and again.

Beautiful Location but disappointed.

The house is in a good location and has beautiful views. Yard is tidy and maintained. Inside the house requires a bit more TLC. TV Remote required batteries, purchased these ourselves. . Toaster didnt work, the host didnt respond for 10 hours when notified of this problem. We generally cook our own breakfast when away to save on meal costs and a toaster is essential. Broken blinds in dining/lounge that dont open, Exhaust fan in ensuite seized and doesnt work, Top Hinge on door to master bedroom needs refixing. Bulbs blown in house and require replacing. TV had finger prints and marks all over it, not covid clean standard. We did receive small refund to reimburse us for Batteries and broken toaster.

Excellent water view

We chose this property because of its long jetty. The home is spacious. From both levels we could see Brisbane Waters, a true water front. As for fishing, we did catch some off the jetty. We let them all go because they are tiny. We enjoyed the process.

Lovely home with beautiful view.

A very special house that offers not just good, clean and comfortable accommodation, but also an amazing waterfront vista from the large open plan lounge and kitchen area, the ground floor deck and bedroom, and the private jetty. You feel like you're sitting right on top of the beautiful Brisbane waterway. The panorama is spectacular. In the evenings we gathered for drinks on the balcony and took in the magical tinkling lights illuminating the Gosford harbour area. Truly special. I was lucky enough to view three glorious sunrises. If you're looking for a relaxing, rewarding get-away, this house ticks all the boxes. It is also a very short walk from a supermarket, bottle shop, cafe, take-away options and the railway station. Not good value for money

We have stayed in many properties of similar price range, but what we found that basic things are not in the property. The kitchen is not appropriately stocked, not enough cutlery, small bowls, cups and plates and even the small items like grater etc were not there. The pressure of water in the shower is too low and it seems the shower heads needs thorough cleaning or replacement, as the shower trickles and is all over. The sliding doors are very old and hard to operate. The size of bedrooms is quite small (for that price). The owner should invest in new pots and pans (either steel or glazed cast iron as the existing non-stick ones are not clean and cooking in them seems unhealthy. An overall impression and feeling was that the property is sub-standard. The positive aspect is the view from the living room. We have stayed in many properties in Kiama, Southern Highlands, Coffs Harbour etc. which have similar price range, but the feeling after staying was "WOW". As per our experience, we would score this property 5 out of 10.

Best accommodation and wedding venue

When Covid started, we had a sudden change on our wedding plan that’s supposed to be overseas. We looked for a house that will accommodate our intimate wedding. Helen was so amazing to let us use her property for our special day. She went above and beyond just hosting us, she answers our questions and even gave some recommendations from neighbours and friends of where to order flowers, etc. she communicates so well and quick. she always says yes to our requests and she made sure the house and the whole property was ready for us to use. She even gave us a wedding gift.. soooo thoughtful! The breathtaking view was perfect for our big day. We used the backyard and deck for the event. The house was also huge for our family of 8 to stay. It is sparkling clean. It has all the amenities you need plus more. Our families loved the place and have told us they will also be booking the house. We will definitely come back this year and the coming years!!
