“We loved our time at this Tahoe City home. The host was super helpful and responsive, and even accommodated early check in/late check out for us. It was just the right amount of space for 2 young families with kids, had an amazing view of the lake and was close to ski mountains. All in all a great stay. My only note for potential renters in the winter is that the driveway is steep and can get icy. Definitely took some management and were glad we had 4WD cars.”

“We had a great time in this cozy home! It was perfectly situated between all of the things we wanted to do while in Lake Tahoe. Everything was very clean and the fireplace was the PERFECT touch for the first snow day of the season! The neighborhood is quiet and quaint. Would definitely recommend for a couples trip! ”

“We are in love with Miner's Cabin! At first, it was a little disorienting for us because it was a new area of Placerville that we hadn't experienced. However, it just took about 2 seconds and we fell head over heels. The property is meticulous and the hosts are accommodating yet allow you all the space you need to feel like you're home. The horses and the chickens, are great, but the special little sitting areas and the water lily pond felt like heaven. We can't wait to go back.”

“This was the perfect property to book for us just to unplug. We ran away from the city, to take in the scenery and celebrate my daughter's 20th birthday. We all needed to unplug from the everyday hustle and veg out! We enjoyed riding our bikes around the neighborhood, having coffee on the back patio and listening to the water run in the creek. Then running into town to grab dinner and desert, followed up by soaking in the jacuzzi. This was always a great way to end the night. ”

“Beautiful home. Thank you for our stay. If I’m being critical. For what we paid and other families, the home could have been stocked better. We did make our own dinner, the home had no basic ingredients such as salt and pepper. The toilet paper was super cheap and the bedroom tv can be upgraded, the dvd player is literally hanging by wires. Overall the home was very nice and pleasant and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you. ”

“We loved the house and location next to Alpine! Super clean, nice kitchen and bathrooms. We had one issue with hot water not working and the hosts quickly addressed it having a plumber come by to find a water valve was left on in the garage. Our kids loved the jacuzzi! Our only small gripe: the TV in the living room is way too high, haha. Would be great if they could lower it…we’ll stay again! ”
