“This is an absolute haven of tranquility and you don’t expect a lodge like that while driving down the East coast of Raiatea. The garden is stunning and you can read about all the plants. We stay in the Kava, you are just up the reception/laundry with a view of reception roof (metal tile roof) you feel more on a favela than a hotel, the bungalow do not have any curtain, the terrasse it's 80% of the bungalow all open, so you are the show of the hotel. “The staff was concerned with us getting there before 8pm. We hurried to get there and did not stop for dinner. We arrived to check in at 5pm and the staff seemed eager to show us our rental and get out of there (we were the last and maybe only ones to check in that day).
