“This was a booking I made for my sister who’s traveling to Florida by herself. They put her in a section of the hotel that was basically abandoned the room was filthy and the toilet was clogged and disgusting. When she asked them to move her room they argued with her and gave her a hard time and then ended up keeping her in the same section right next to the room she was in. I booked this room for my sister because it was conveniently on her way home never ever again don’t use this hotel”

“The Virginia Highlands hospitality is evident in every employee at this property. From the moment we checked in to checking out the staff was helpful and knowledgeable about their community. We were immediately pointed in the right direction for good food, beer and music. The Breakfast was on par with the Hampton Inn Brand and the Breakfast room was immaculate. Hot tub was hot and our room was quiet.
My only comment and this applies to many hotels; guests should be informed on booking that...

“The floor in the room was dirty. The sheets on the bed were worn out.. I had ask to have my room refreshed on my second day there and it was not done. I had to go to the front desk to get fresh towels so I could take a shower. The first night I was there my service dog had to go to pee at 2:30am. When I went down the back door was blocked open.with a small rock.”
