No staff both in afternoon and in the evening, doors in front of hotel unlocked, and restaurant not opened and no one there even when hours posted otherwise. Room cards were on the counter with names and card numbers but no staff again. No lights in rooms or activity and overall a odd location. “Luogo tranquillo e rilassante per chi vuole uscire dallo stress della città. È diponibile per gli ospiti un piccolo orto con ortaggi e aromi. La cucina è ottimamente arredata e accessoriata. C'è anche la lavastoviglie, non è indispensabile ma comoda. All'esterno ci sono ampi spazi con sdraio, sedie e tavolini. Lo consiglio!”

“If you want that old feel farm house feel this is the place to go. Bernardo, the host, is very accommodating. We had 10 nights there and would return for another holiday. Lovely grounds and a pool for hot weather. Parking is within the courtyard. ”

“What a lovely place to stay, easy to find, lots of parking available. Check-in was easy & the receptionist really helpful, explaining everything. Nice touch of complimentary mini-bar. Breakfast was excellent with fresh cooked eggs, everything was delicious Hope to return again later this year ”

"We had a truly wonderful stay at Ambra Hotel in Cortina and would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the generous upgrade to the beautiful suite. The interior design, the lobby and cocktail bar are absolutely stunning—elegant, refined, and filled with charming details that create a warm and luxurious atmosphere. Our suite was spacious, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed. One of the highlights was the private jacuzzi. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day exploring the breathtaking surroundings of Cortina. A special thank you to Elisabetta Dotto and her team for her kindness and hospitality. Their personal touch made us feel truly welcome and cared for. The staff was equally wonderful—attentive, professional, and always ready to assist. The hotel’s central location is ideal, with everything within walking distance, yet it remains peaceful and quiet. Thank you once again for making our stay so special. We look forward to returning and can highly recommend Ambra Hotel to anyone visiting Cortina."

"Hotellet ligger väldigt centralt i Cortina, det är bara en våning upp och saknar hiss. Vårt fokus var längskidåkning, så vi var bara på hotellet för att duscha/byta om och sova. Det är ett helt OK hotell med OK standard. Lite hårda sängar, däremot var kuddarna för platta & dåliga Godkänd frukost (OK europeisk nivå, låg nordisk nivå) bra städning. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Bra parkering bakom hotellet (15 euro/natt) även för SUV"

"Städning kunde vara bättre innan vi kom (Golvet var smutsig och sopporna från förre gäster). Trevligt och hjälpsamt personal som hjälpte oss direkt. Utrymme och inredning i huset var tillräckligt allt vad man behöver samt perfekt placering nära stranden och poolen. Vi absolut kommer nästa år igen. "
