“Cozy and quite property with off street parking. Homy feel and nicely decorated with everything you might need. Close to the beach, nature reserve etc. Not far from the city, however you would need transportation if you wanted to go to the CBD or Waterfront. Host communication was good and clear. We had a lovely stay.”

“Large 1970s house. Tidy and good location to beach, cafes and 4 square shop. Reasonably happy with stay but there some things that need addressing.1) Upstairs Queen bed- the mattress springs gone on the right side and the mattress feels like you are sleeping on a slope. Definitely needs replacing 2) Lack of outdoor chairs on the deck 3) Pool cue sticks in garage has lost their tips and need to be replaced 4) outside furniture (table and chairs could do with a good clean or be replaced 5) BBQ -...

“Highly recommend this accommodation if you are seeking a private, secluded place to stay but within easy, short travel to the city (any of Wgtn, Lower Hutt or Porirua). The deck area is fantastic - a view of the forest, great couches and the hot tub. We will definitely book again.”

“Plenty of room for 10 adults with lots of different spaces to hang out great entertainment with the table tennis, pool, spa and tennis court nicely presented and clean couple of issues were that the dryer was full of wet towels when we arrived, and the upstairs shower is very slow to drain so may need some attention”

“This house is located in a beautiful spot. You just walk through the garden to the beach. It is very clean and comfortable with everything you need. It is a very short walk to cafes, restaurants and a Four Square. We had walks on the beach and we also brought our bikes and explored the well maintained, easy cycle trail at the estuary. “The properties were both very clean and comfortable. Handy to the beach and quiet but also easy driving to the town. Google maps found them easily:-) Although we only stayed two nights and really only needed them to sleep in they were spacious enough to have a lovely family holiday. Shower was good and one of them had a bath.”

“* Great outdoor spaces for entertaining including a huge lawn for outdoor cricket or soccer. The rooms were spacious, with lovely bedding. The kitchen had everything you needed. Great selection of board games. * I loved the Christian sayings and cross in the house that made it special. The only downside was the blinds in the cottage weren’t full length so only went ¾ of the way down and did not cover the ranch sliders cross ways but other than that it was lovely!!”

“I liked the view. I didn't like anything else. I booked it at short notice for a two week stay and moved out after 3 nights. The back door only locked from the outside. There was only one other door - not good in an emergency. Two of us staying. 3 towels, 2 face cloths, 1 hand towel and 1 bathmat. I had to move my bed so I could shut my bedroom door. I had to ask for heaters to be supplied. There was no wifi. Lacking in any charm.”

“Vi hade det superbra på Gilmer Apartments! Rent, fräscht och rymligt med välutrustat kök (även kokplatta) och tvättmöjligheter där tvättmedel ingick. Fräscht badrum och bra städning. Lugnt och stilla område med bra genväg till Lambton Quay (typ huvudgata). Vi checkade in sent utan problem (fick kod och instruktioner via mail) och fick även hjälp att boka taxi till färjan. Skulle definitivt bo här igen om vi skulle komma tillbaka till Wellington!”
