“The staff is kind, the decoration is nice, the area is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Nice atmosphere. The bathroom is really small, needs renovation, and the tap was problematic. The place is far from Aegina town, and quite isolated (no shops nearby, and I doubt there is any public transportation to use - this might be a problem for people who arrive there and do not have a car). The location shown on the map when we booked was wrong and we got the impression that the hotel was in Aegina town...

“Rather than a guesthouse, this was a self-contained studio apartment. It was well-equipped. Great views and a small terrace and patio area. Housekeeping came once during the week. The owner met us off the ferry and took us to the apartment, we would never have found it otherwise. He did not come back to check if everything was ok, which would have been nice. Hydra is built on a hillside and to reach the apartment you had to climb many steps. It would not be suitable for anyone who is not fit...

“This property was full of surprises! From the bountiful flower garden, the unique stone art sitting areas on each floor, and the wonderfully outfitted rooms! But what was even greater than the full sea view from the balcony, was the hospitality of the host who lovingly maintains the property grounds, finds books in guests’ language from the borrow library and inquires about his guests’ experiences and adventures. I would not only stay again, but I would entertain a longer stay. LOVED IT!!!”

"Enligt bokningen skulle det ingå frukost, men väl på plats fick vi info att det inte skulle serveras något. Halvbra AC, handfatet blev snabbt smutsigt pga dåligt avlopp och det kändes dammigt på rummet."
