The location inside the remnants of a castle is remarkable, and the view from Monsummano Alto is spectacular. We also had a fantastic dinner at La Forresteria restaurant right on the mountain top.”

“We had a great stay in Giacomina and the apartment was perfect for a family with 2 or 3 childrens. The pool was very nice and clean. Ruth is a fantastic host that really does everything for her guests. Walking distance to restaurants. The only minus was that there could had been a fantastic view if they had cut down some bushes and trees around the pool and outside the apartment window. Thank you for a great stay! “The property was a little tricky to find as it is off the main roads and down a windy, narrow gravel path. It's about a 30 minute drive to Lucca. The private pool is lovely, and all the flowers and succulents are beautiful. Giacomo and Jessica were very responsive when we had questions, and it was wonderful that they let us check in early.Pool towels are provided, but only one bath towel is given per guest for the entire week/stay.
