SandyCabins Duplex Beach House - Lake Side Cabin

  • This knotty pine duplex cabin is situated above a private barking sand beach on the beautiful Lake Huron. With a fire pit, a butterfly garden, and lots of sand, this charming cabin is the perfect place for a large family holiday or a group trip to the beach.
    Our cabin sits right on the water with direct access to our private beach which you’ll share with the guests in the Garden Side Cabin. Don’t worry, there’s plenty of sand for everyone!
    A charcoal grill awaits your brats or steaks or whatever was on sale at Walt’s Meat Market across the street.
    This can be a quiet romantic getaway for long walks on the beach, or an exciting family splash fest with fire roasted hot dogs and scorched marshmallows. We ask our guests to leave the cabin as they found it.

Great location, beautiful beach! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. I would have liked some of the weed brush to be trimmed to have a open view of the water as the pictures on-line show, and the inside wood beams dusted, but other than that it was great.

The location was amazing! The duplex was super cozy, the spiral staircase was a little difficult to use if you’re a wider person but super cute. Had a great trip and owner was great!

My 2nd time here and still enjoy everything the cabin beach being close to either downtown PA or Caseville convenient store across street only thing missing is a tv I truly enjoy this place and hopefully return

The Cabin is awesome, right on the beach! Had all items needed for cooking and very clean. Location is awesome just about halfway between Port Austin and Caseville. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a great beach get away!

Absolutely Beautiful Lake Stay. Cabin was homey and perfect for 4 Adults! And upstairs there was a full bed and bunks for a larger group. Very Clean and everything we needed! Highly Recommend 👍

Beautiful Stay!

We had an incredible time at Paul and Jade’s cabin! It was perfect for a weekend getaway! Stunning views of the lake and our boys loved playing on the beach. The cabin was cozy, clean, and comfortable! Close to everything in Port Austin! Would stay again :)

Great place on a private beach

Can’t say enough positives about this property. It is clean, private, well stocked, and has a fantastic private beach. The water is clean and has a sandy bottom. My family enjoyed the trip and we can’t wait to come back.

Perfect family trip!

This was the perfect property for our extended family trip. 4 families in two houses ( we rented both sides) . Beach is gorgeous and pet-friendly for a fee. Well stocked with towels and supplies. The washer was a nice bonus!

Positive notes, property has great beach access. And we did enjoy the area, eating out, parks.Negatives, it might have been nice to be informed we had to walk some distance from parking to the entry. Was not made clear, even after inquiring with owner about arrival after dark. Tripping hazards (roots) on the “path” to the entry. The bed we slept in was awful. Furnishings seem like they have been there since the 70s. Otherwise a cute cottage and probably priced accordingly.

Beautiful View

We reserved both sides of the duplex for four couples. We were there for a wedding in Port Austin. Kitchens were well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Very clean. We enjoyed the beach right outside our door.
