“We were welcomed warmly by the hosts. They showed us through the unit, explained how everything worked and made sure we were settled. The unit was very well presented, very clean and offered many comforts from the warm gas heater to the electric blankets on the beds. The kitchen was well appointed. We had a very comfortable stay. If and when we return to Tassie and need accommodation near Mountain River we would definitely stay again. Thank you.”

“The room is absolutely beautiful, everything is new and there is obviously been a lot of care taken to make it a great experience. Great bedding, plenty of pillows and blankets for every seat. Excellent kitchen with lots of options for cooking and coffee. Water pressure was great! It was honestly the coziest experience, and has the most incredible view of the towering trees surrounding the property just beyond the lush creek. Kylie was such a great host, she was friendly, easy to talk to and...

Everything you need is supplied, beautiful treats on arrival, the most comfortable bed ever, stunning views and location... and the wellness centre (spa, sauna, gym) made the visit perfect. “Dog friendly, and great location. However you may need to be aware that the access to main living space is up 14 wooden stairs. We had to teach our to go up and down, slowly. I would imagine some older people having difficulty with this too.”

“Easy access and lovely location with wallabies visiting morning and evening. Well equipped kitchen and pantry was an absolute bonus. Two bedrooms with queen beds and one also included bunks so great for larger families. Great hot shower and reverse cycle heater and wood heater with plenty of cut wood available. 10 / 10 - thank you for making this place available. Loved staying here.”

“The house was wonderful! Although it doesnt have wifi, which would be a huge plus if they added. Everything was clean and tidy except one bedroom which was full of Spiders, found 17 in total, but once i moved them outside i was not bothered by any more! Great place, would stay again!”

“Comfortable property with well equipped kitchen and great deck right on the water. Pretty steep drive if you have a small car but ours managed it fine. Only 10 mins from the ferry.”

“This is a lovely accommodation with beautiful water views from the living and bedroom areas. The hosts were so nice to give us eggs, apple crisp and cookies upon arrival - what a nice touch. The space was roomy, clean and newly finished. For us the location was perfect as we like to be "out of the way" and not in busy towns. We would recommend this rental to our friends!”
