“We had a great stay at this home. It was a comfortable home base for our trip to see the puffins. Only a 15 min drive to Elliston Puffin Viewing Site and close to many beautiful hikes and restaurants. The home was clean, pretty and had great views of the sea.”

“Quite simply, Goose Cove Retreat exceeded my (very high) expectations if every way. It is obvious that June and Paul have walked through every room and space trying to anticipate what their guests would want or appreciate and then making sure those needs and wants are provided. From the basket of every size of flip flops for the short walk to the magical hot tub in the trees, or the towel / robe hooks on the tree by the hot tub stairs, or the fresh tulips throughout the home, no detail was too...

“Mabel’s View is a terrific place to stay. Unobstructured views of the bay and the fishing wharf from the house and the spacious deck. Very quiet and serene! The kitchen was perfect…well equipped, everything you would want was there including personal care items. Very thoughtfully fitted out. Thanks for a lovely 6 night stay! We will be back.”

“We were looking for a place in Trinity / Port Rexton with short notice & we ended up finding a magical place. The house had amazing character, was reasonably priced & wonderful owners (Chris&Lilly). The house is a quiet, old home that has been newly renovated with great attention to detail. We were on the water with nobody around and yet still close enough to town. If we ever come back to Newfoundland we would absolutely stay here again. You won’t be disappointed. 10 stars ”

“Great accommodation, great location. We loved sitting out on the porch whale spotting. Quaint little town with lots of exploring opportunities. We had a wonderful trip!”

“David and Coco’s place in Summerville is exquisite. They have maintained the spirit of the place perfectly while adding all the amenities you might need. (The master bed is incredibly comfortable. Best sleep of our lives.) It’s on a dead end road in a beautiful cove and so is very peaceful but within striking distance of Bonavista, Trinity and all the other very busy spots on the peninsula.Dave and Coco also give their guests a very thoughtful guide to the house and area. Can’t recommend enogh. ”
