“My husband and I stayed here for our baby moon, and it was perfect! We used daufuskie life for our shuttle to and from the house, and Lowcountry ferry for our shuttle to island from Hilton head. Both transportation’s were great and referred by host! We got to the island a little bit earlier than our reservation, but the host was more than welcome to accommodate us, and great with communication. We ended up having a slightly stormy weekend, but the location of this rental was perfect for quick...

“We try to keep our expectations realistic- a place with some fun things to occupy the kids, close to the beach, close to restaurants and grocery stores, ya know, the basics. This property really has it all! Missy is so responsive and easy to work with. She provided recommendations for bike rentals as well as nice places to eat to celebrate a birthday. We have three young kids and they loved being able to relax in comfortable spaces, including around the pool with a TV (hey, we are on vacation!)....

“Great unit and great hosts to work with. Very clean and easy to walk to the beach, restaurants, shops and nightlife. My only slight disappointment was that there is no closet in the primary bedroom and limited dresser space, but other than that everything was great! Mermaid Cottages is a wonderful group to work with, excellent communication and very accommodating. ”

Highly recommend Mermaid Cottages and this house. We walked everywhere and others staying in the neighborhood were all friendly and respectful. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs.
