"My son got married at Larsmont Cottages and they dont accept dogs. So we rented the cabin for 3 nights so the dog could come with us. We couldn't have been more pleased, we had everything we needed and the place was spotless. We had plenty of room and enough bathrooms to get ready for the wedding festivities each day. Lovely views of the ships on the lake too."

"We had a wonderful time staying at the Amnicon lodge! Everything exceeded our expectations, and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the nature. The one thing I would say is that the bathroom is a shared space with the other cabins on the property. I did not see this listed in the description, but it wasn’t really an issue for us; just good information for future guests!"

The one difficulty was the lack of heater in the cabin necessitating use of space heaters. While the cabin remained warm enough I was under the impression there was more centralized heating. There were a fair number of Asian beetles, flies and spiders-this is most likely due to being in the woods. There were a few light bulbs out(master bedroom bath and garage door opener light and garage. Nice to have access to a garage as our weather was rainy most days. About 40 minutes to Bayfield and about 20 minutes to Ashland. "

"Nice place to stay. Just slightly imperfect in that some of the carpet was showing wear and tear. Was nice and clean. Roomy bathroom in the suite, large shower and roomy jacuzzi. The fireplace added a nice cozy feeling and a little warmth which was very welcome. The bed was a little bit too firm for our taste. Didn’t really eat there except for a crème brûlée that we shared over cocktails, and it was utterly amazing! The service was done great and with a smile! Will definitely come back!!"
