“Excellent value for money. Facilities were basic, as expected at this end of the market, but everything was as it should be. Lady checked me in was polite and friendly. Due to very short duration of stay, didn't have much interaction with staff.”

“Very cosy and cute little inn located within an equally cosy village. Friendly staff and clean room. Breakfast was delicious. Parking was a slight issue in the evening as cars had to park in 2 rows, blocking the first people in. Large Tesco 5 min drive away. Would definitely stay again.”

“Super hotel in middle of Dolgellau. Efficiently run by courteous friendly professional staff. We did not eat there but wish we had! Everything as it should be in a good hotel. Plentiful overnight parking in the long stay carpark behind the hotel. Some traffic noise as it is an old building with single glazing but that is to be expected. ”

“Our stay was perfect all the way from the initial, warm greeting from Pattra, to the wonderful room, a lovely Thai dinner and, then, a peaceful night’s sleep and an excellent breakfast. We can offer no improvements. Just thank you for a great visit. It also has a great location-just around the corner from the Castle!”
