“Richard is very much the 'Host with the Most'. Very chatty and friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He went above and beyond for us...Carrying our cases up to the top floor...And down again when we left. Plus he does a cracking packed lunch. Our room was more than adequate, comfy and clean. The only gripe from our point of view is that we'd prefer proper cups and spoons...”

“This is a fabulous little hotel and we were delighted with our three night stay. James and Amy are wonderful hosts who put their heart and soul into their place and nothing is too much trouble. Our room had plenty of space and the bed was very comfortable. The common areas were lovely, and the breakfast was great. An easy 20 to 30 minute stroll to town, or short drive, so a great base for all that this region has to offer.”

“A pretty little cottage with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Paul and Elena are so welcoming and provided us with tons of information about the local area. We loved sitting outside the cottage with a brew (lots of tea/coffee provided) and a book and were lucky with the weather. The bed is super comfy, bathroom facilities great with big fluffy towels and toiletries provided. Everywhere was spotless - not a speck of dust anywhere! Elena cooks a fabulous fry-up and there was loads of...

“Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out.”
