Rooms might starting to see some aging, but comfy beds and pillows and it is very nice and clean.

All amenities you need for a great stay. Town totally walkable with lovely shops and lots of history. Cathedral, heritage centre fantastic things to visit. Only negative was the stairs to the apartment but came away a lot fitter then when arrived ”

“Online Coupley Court seemed like a colourful and unique place to stay at. In reality it was the opposite. Grey and dark. Literally dark since the lightning in both the room and kitchen was very bad and dim. You couldn't see a thing in the hallway mirror in the room since there was no light at all as you came in. The bathroom had dust falling into the shower cabin from the ventilation. The bed was so soft that I actually hurt my back by sitting down on it. The kitchen lacked most amenities and...
“This is definitely a beautiful hotel. Staff is very friendly and down to earth, great welcoming when checking in.
I forgot my tablet when checking out and it was easy and convenient to pick it back up after work. They were very tentative and reached out to me quickly in this matter.
Rooms are old fashioned, but very nice and the beds are comfortable and you sleep great in them.

“We had a wonderful experience in Cork. The hotel had everything that we needed. Since this was our third destination on the trip, we badly needed to do some laundry and the hotel has some excellent provision for that. The room was well equipped with a fridge and kitchenette. The location is excellent. The Moxy's bar next door has some awesome drinks and live music. The hotel is close to everything (pretty much). The breakfast is great. The staff is wonderful.

“Beautiful classic old farmhouse property nicely renovated and updated into a wedding destination and B&B. Our large room was spectacular with vaulted ceilings and an antique poster bed. Wonderful antique furniture and decor, but with a modern bathroom. Lovely farmhouse setting with donkeys in a paddock and fruit trees in the backyard. Although we had to leave early, we saw the spectacular breakfast spread. Woman who checked us in was very nice and helpful.”

"I stayed for one night only, during a business trip. I booked a room with a double bed, but was given a room with two single beds put together. I requested to change, explaining that I have a bad back, but was told that there were no rooms of that type available, and was told they can’t do much for me, when the correct thing to do is to offer an upgrade where there is a double bed. It’s absurd to have to sleep with two beds splitting up underneath one’s back when one books a room with a king/queen bed.
I also requested to check out an hour later so I could go to the gym, given that my flight was late afternoon. I was abruptly told that they do not allow any late checkouts, despite the statement on the website of the hotel that informs guests that they always try to accommodate late checkouts, and guests should ask.
I travel roughly 150 days a year for work and can say that the service at the Dean Cork is rude, unfriendly, abrasive and just overall lousy.
Bed was cracking and springs could be felt. Cracks on tiles and walls and doors in the room.
