âFantastic place to stay. The views were amazing. Very clean and comfortable. Each day a housekeeper came to empty bins and top up items. So unexpected service and was great. All amenities you need for a great stay. Town totally walkable with lovely shops and lots of history. Cathedral, heritage centre fantastic things to visit. Only negative was the stairs to the apartment but came away a lot fitter then when arrived â
âThe staff was awesome and place was great. Views fantastic. Lots of hills to walk but worth the walk.
Must be European thing but no wash clothes in bathroom but none of my hotels have had them.
One downside is although there is off site parking it is a difficult parking lot.
Overall i was very pleased â

âFantastisk trevlig personal som sĂ„g till att hela familjen trivdes, familje rummen stora och rymliga med kingsize sĂ€ng + enkel sĂ€ng. Maten som serveras var av hög klass och priserna inte allt för dyra. Det enda negativa var tiderna för poolen med barn 2 timmar pĂ„ morgonen och 2 timmar pĂ„ eftermiddagen.â

âOne of the best customer service I have ever experienced - far above the expected both at check in, upgrade to a suit without request and personal greeting with complimentary coffee/tea and croissants despite early checkout, including free airport shuttle. A pity it was only for one night, would definitely book again.â
âBeautiful classic old farmhouse property nicely renovated and updated into a wedding destination and B&B. Our large room was spectacular with vaulted ceilings and an antique poster bed. Wonderful antique furniture and decor, but with a modern bathroom. Lovely farmhouse setting with donkeys in a paddock and fruit trees in the backyard. Although we had to leave early, we saw the spectacular breakfast spread. Woman who checked us in was very nice and helpful.â
âThe property was in a perfect place on the beach, quiet and luxurious on the inside. The pool and jaccuzi were a nice addition, both very warm. âThis is definitely a beautiful hotel. Staff is very friendly and down to earth, great welcoming when checking in.
I forgot my tablet when checking out and it was easy and convenient to pick it back up after work. They were very tentative and reached out to me quickly in this matter.
Rooms are old fashioned, but very nice and the beds are comfortable and you sleep great in them.

"I stayed for one night only, during a business trip. I booked a room with a double bed, but was given a room with two single beds put together. I requested to change, explaining that I have a bad back, but was told that there were no rooms of that type available, and was told they canât do much for me, when the correct thing to do is to offer an upgrade where there is a double bed. Itâs absurd to have to sleep with two beds splitting up underneath oneâs back when one books a room with a king/queen bed.
I also requested to check out an hour later so I could go to the gym, given that my flight was late afternoon. I was abruptly told that they do not allow any late checkouts, despite the statement on the website of the hotel that informs guests that they always try to accommodate late checkouts, and guests should ask.
I travel roughly 150 days a year for work and can say that the service at the Dean Cork is rude, unfriendly, abrasive and just overall lousy.
Bed was cracking and springs could be felt. Cracks on tiles and walls and doors in the room.
