“The Cabin was nice, very quiet and close to ballpark we were attending for state tournament. Needs road repair going in. Also would liked more light for reading. Overall enjoyed our stay.”

“The cabin is an ideal retreat for two with a stunning view of the river. We enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking coffee with breakfast in the morning, snacking a quick bite outdoors for lunch, and grilling steaks on the deck with a Bud for him and a glass of wine for me at dinner. Fishermen in their boats drifting by, water birds and eagles soared above the river, and song birds twittered in the trees. Indoors was comfortable and cozy. One night we watched a storm roll in from over the mountains...

“This was my second visit to the cabin, and like the first, I enjoyed every minute there. I returned to work on wrapping up the novel I started last year, and the peace and quiet in this lovely setting was everything I needed. Bonus: I was there for the unexpected northern lights flare, and without any light pollution, I caught some amazing images on my phone! Great cabin—clean, comfortable, and cozy—and wonderful hosts. I will definitely return!”

“We were looking for a clean, quiet cabin with a great view and a coffee pot. Bre Cabin hit all the marks. Thoughtful gifts, games and the best porch in the Ozarks. 15 min to Buffalo River landings and 30 min to several trailheads. We enjoyed the pristine quiet and quality family time.”

“We greatly enjoyed our stay at BSC. Dave made finding the location easy with accurate directions. We had plenty of space for our group of 9 plus our large dog. We enjoyed mornings & evenings on the large back porch while the kids had room to run and play soccer. Large bathrooms with endless hot water so no worries on who got to the shower first. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make large meals. I appreciated the laundry amenities & cleaning supplies available.”

“Absolutely wonderful! The location is easily accessible from a main road. Peaceful and quiet, yet convenient. We rented for our family annual fishing trip over Memorial Day weekend. Will definitely rent again:)”

“We had a great weekend with friends! We came to float the Buffalo and enjoyed our time at Paddle and Play. The location is close to Gilbert and we used Buffalo Camp and Canoe at the Gilbert Store. Paddle and Play was a nice place to relax after driving over the first day and after a full day of floating the second day. It was just as described and super clean! Highly recommend!”

“It was in great location for floating the Buffalo river all day. We liked that the restaurant was next door and very good. It’s not a 5 star place but unique. Clean, small and only there to sleep. ”

“Can't beat the location and the view! Idk if it was the time of year or if it's normal but the nice & quiet we enjoyed was a rare find. You can find your solace here. The view is worth the almost 9 hr drive. However, you need to arrive during the day bc at night the propery blends in. The tree house is compact, well thought out, & decorated nicely. It would have been really nice to use the outdoor area but it was a bit nippy.”

“We completely enjoyed our stay! For me this was a lifelong dream come true. Always wanted to fish this river. Walters place is perfect for that and more. A private dock and boat rental. Highly recommend renting a boat. Super happy with everything. Definitely will return!”

“This was a lovely little spot for 2 adults and child for a few days. The weather was cool and the heater worked well. 26 minute walk to my family home and remote enough that the quiet was amazing. Only saw one other person from a property across the road the whole week. Deer, chickens, and dogs were all adorable too see.”
