“This nice motel by a lovely creek has great beds (not too hard, not too soft) and quality soaps and shampoos. Breakfast from 8 to 10am includes fresh strawberries and blueberries, oranges, apples, pears, and bananas, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, waffles, cereal, bagels, muffins and toast. Coffee was good plus orange juice and milk were available. And if you are so inclined, fresh baked chip cookies were also available. Service was personal and friendly. “Good location next to a creek in charming little Wilmington. But rooms are very small and basic. No glas, no bed table or bed lamp. Had to ask the downstair restaurant for WiFi access - but it didn’t reach up to the rooms. The downstairs restaurant seemed really nice but we came on a Sunday so there were no live music and it closed at 9 pm. Without breakfast included it wasn’t the best deal for us. ”

“There is no staff at the facility but someone is available by text The common areas were great. I can see how this would be a good communal area to meet others in the busy months or go with a big group of friends. I loved the work from home room. The outdoor areas were really nice too. Unfortunately the entry keypad into my room was very finicky. It would take me multiple tries each time entering my room to hit the numbers just right. My toilet seat in the bathroom was also completely broken...
