This comfortable top floor 65m2 two bedrooms apartment in the Preko city on the island of Ugljan consist of 2 double bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen with dining room and a pull-out sofa bed for 1 person, bathroom with shower and the terrace with spectacular sea view over the Zadar Chanel.

The proximity of shops, transport, coves and the beach make this apartment, a property ideally located and very quiet where it is good to live.

Preko is the road and the administration center of the island of Ugljan, situated, as the name states, opposite Zadar. Its old center consists of typical Dalmatian architecture and numerous patrician family summer houses. The best way to feel the Mediterranean atmosphere is by walking along the quay or sipping a favorite drink on one of the terraces with a view of the Zadar Channel.

Only about 80 m from Preko lies the idyllic islet of Galevac (Školjić), covered with dense Mediterranean vegetation that shelters the 15th century valuable monastery of Franciscan friars of the third order. Its sandy beach makes it a popular swimming site.

The nearby beach Jaz rightfully carries the blue flag – a symbol of clear sea.

The 11th century Romanesque church of St. John is situated on the eastern side of the locality, near the ferryboat landing.

Preko is the closest starting point for the excursion to St. Michael’s fortress (265 m above the sea level). The view from the fortress spreads over more than 200 islands of the archipelago of Zadar and Kornati National Park.

Island Ugljan is one of the most picturesque islands in the Zadar archipelago. It lies opposite to Zadar from which it is divided by only the few NM of the Zadar Channel. The island is connected to mainland with good ferry services. The Pleasant ferry ride takes 20 minutes. Thanks to its coves, surrounding islands and a rich maritime underworld it is a real challenge for diving and fishing. The wavy high plains of the inland are covered with around for fifty kilometers of trekking and biking trails, leaving an unforgettable picture of colors, odors and panorama to all passers-by. Islands Ugljan and Pašman are situated less than one hour from international airport Zadar. Low fare airlines operate direct flights to Zadar airport from more than 30 European cities from March until end of October.

Islands Pašman and Ugljan are easily accessible by ferries that operate from Zadar to Preko (Island Ugljan) and from Biograd to Tkon (island Pašman). Ferry company name: JADROLINIJA. Ferry rides last 15-25 minutes. Ferries operate every hour during the summer season. Passenger and vehicle tickets can be bought in the agencies of the ferry company Jadrolinija in the harbor of your departure.
