“Perfect place to stay for a weekend trip to Schweitzer. The rental is conveniently located less than 30 minutes away from Schweitzer mountain. I only went with a friend but could have comfortable enjoyed our stay with 2 more guests. Cabin is clean, has TVs in every room, remodeled, and kitchen has a nice breakfast bar which we used in the mornings.”

“This cabin is fantastic and Lisa is a wonderful host. I booked the place for Valentine's Day weekend so that my girlfriend and I could ski at Schweitzer. The location of the cabin is perfect -- less than a half hour from the mountain and within a 15-minute walk to downtown. We only skiied and went out for drinks in Sandpoint, but I imagine there is plenty to do in the other seasons of the year as well.I would say that the kitchen is a little understocked as far as kitchen items goes (like no...

“We had a great time at The Playhouse with our 2 older daughters. The owners are very nice and made sure we had everything we needed, including bday candles for our daughter. Such a cute, very nice, new and clean little cabin with a beautiful view and wonderful place to hang out and relax by the fire and in the hot tub. We hope to make it back again one day!”

“What a fantastic stay in the woods! The property was close to Sandpoint and we went back and forth to town several times a day. Lots of attention to detail, a sense of welcome, hospitality, and warmth enveloped us from the moment we set foot in the door. The perfect cozy cabin getaway for two.”

Bonus points: the check out procedures were easier than the last few short term rentals my wife and I stayed at. Communication by the management company and owner was thorough and prompt.
