Vårt nyrenoverade fritidshus har redan fantastisk utsikt över havet och golfbanan men har nu helt nya moderna badrum med Hans Grohe regnduschar och inventarier plus ett fristående badkar i det stora badrummet, modernt kök med Caesarstone räknare och Kitchen Aid apparater , alla nya fönster och dörrar, 8 fot höga skjutreglage som leder till den bakre Lanai, en täckt utomhus Lanai för matsal, vägg till vägg trägolv, ny uteplats, alla nya möbler och ett slutet garage. Varje rum inklusive lanai är utrustad med Big Ass-fans, som anses vara de mest effektiva och tystaste fans på marknaden.

Hanalei, på ön Kauai, anses av många vara en av de vackraste platserna på jorden. Dess orörda stränder är omgiven av en fantastisk mängd vattenfall och smaragdgröna klippor.

Melia Kai är ett privat hem med en fantastisk utsikt över det koboltblå Stilla havet och de kaskade vattenfallen i Namolokama. Beläget på Princeville Makai golfbana erbjuder vårt hus besökaren en underbar möjlighet att göra nästan allt --- men det är också en fantastisk plats att göra absolut ingenting!

De spektakulära vyerna inbjuder dig att gå barfota över farleden till kanten av en 150-fots klippa (säkerhet kan be dig att lämna), där du ser ner på vågor som kraschar på lavasten nedanför. Om du tittar noga ser du sköldpaddor som simmar i vikarna under dig.

Du kommer att upptäcka att Melia Kai erbjuder det bästa av två världar - de lyxiga bekvämligheterna i Princeville resortområde (säkerhetspatrull, samhällscentrum, köpcentrum och golf) och den exotiska avlägsenheten i Kauais norra strand. En minut kan du smutta på en Mai Tai i en skarp sommardräkt på den överdådiga St. Regis Hotel, och nästa gång kan du navigera på en djungelspår i din baddräkt och leta efter vattenfallet i toppen av Kalihiwai-dalen.

Our host was amazing! She checked on us throughout our stay. The property was incredibly beautiful. Ocean on one side and mountains on the other! The property did not have A/C, but we were fully aware of that when we booked. The home is full of easy-to-open windows and fans and we stayed cool the entire time. The beds were SO comfy. The home has been so beautifully remodeled. Great neighborhood! So quiet! Close to the grocery store and several restaurants. I wish Meg would adopt us and let us live here! LOL

This was our second year in a row staying in Meg’s beautiful home in Princeville. This home is just perfect for our family of 5 with young kids; the home layout is ideal, has a hot tub, and amazing views and quick walk for an incredible sunset. You are also super close to Queen’s Bath and a quick drive to food and groceries. Couldn’t ask for anything better and plan to stay here again!!

Beautiful AND functional

We loved the neighborhood and being on the golf course within walking distance to AMAZING sunsets! Easy walking and the driving to Hanalei was very quick. Loved the openness of the house which allowed for all of us to cook dinner and play games at the large table. When windows and sliders are open there is a lovely breeze. It was perfect for our group of 6 and when grandparents came to dinner there was still tons of room.

dreamy, well-appointed, and excellent location

this house had everything, including excellent decor and comfortable but also beautiful furniture. it had kitchen utensils that are often missing in other rentals, including knives that actually can cut food! and a knife sharpener, to boot. the outdoor space is also comfortable. and we got to watch albatrosses doing their meeting thing. melia kai was perfect.

INCREDIBLE

We rent from VRBO frequently and sometimes the photos don't always align . . . but this Princeville home exceeded our expectations! The location is stunning with views of the golf course, mountains and ocean in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. The home was a PERFECT size for the six of us (4 adults, 2 children). Meg has EVERYTHING you could possibly need in the kitchen, laundry, etc. The home is spotless and obviously well cared for. The hot tub was clean and a lovely respite after a lot of family activity! We HIGHLY recommend this home!!

Great location with great views

This is a lovely property with a large living area. A great view from almost every room. The house is a classic mid century design. Well equipped overall making for a comfortable stay. It’s also close to all the beaches and amenities but in a quiet neighborhood. The host was terrific and flexible to accommodate our needs.

Beautiful paradise!

This vacation rental is beautiful! The location is perfect with golf course & ocean views. There is a place to watch the beautiful sunsets just a short walk down the golf course We even saw a beautiful small wedding on hole #7 on Friday late afternoon. We enjoyed our vacation and will definitely return.

so much common space, and great location!

Loved staying here with a group of friends. The guest book gave amazing recommendations, and close to many beaches and restaurants/food trucks. Had an amazing view of sunset and the ocean beyond the golf course. The garage had beach chairs, and there were ample towels/beach towels. Would definitely stay again!

Great stay but very involved checkin process

The house was great and in a beautiful location. Only complaint is that it did have a slight musty smell when we first got there. The checkin process was very involved with waivers that needed to be signed and a request for personal information (name, age, phone number, email, home address) about everyone staying. I wasn't too concerned about giving the information but it was very odd that all of that was required. I called VRBO and they told me that I was required to give this information if the owner requested it or I would have to forfeit the payment. I wasn't happy about it but after contacting the owner they were more lenient and didn't require me to give all of the information.

Great Stay

We absolutely loved our stay at Melia Kai. The home itself is luxurious, spacious, clean. Lots of nice little corners to relax. Perfect location with gorgeous sunsets, amazing bird watching, easy access to the main road.
