  • Denna rymliga övervåningen lägenhet i det exklusiva Puu Poa komplexet på norra stranden av vackra Kauai ligger direkt bredvid Princeville St Regis Hotel. Du kommer att älska den nyrenoverade oceanfront poolen! På plats finns också tennisbanor och en väg till Hideaways Beach. (Observera att denna strandväg inte är för svag hjärta. Det är brant och ofta lerigt. Vi rekommenderar den korta promenaden bredvid stranden till St Regis. Lätt!) Denna Kauai semester hyra är den perfekta platsen att hitta ditt eget paradis.

    På Puu Poa 405 hittar du en mycket stor oceanfront lanai, möblerad med en skuggad matplats och din egen grillgrill. Utsikten är obegränsad, panoramautsikt och havet. Sovrummet öppnar en andra täckt atrium-stil Lanai, perfekt för att titta på migrerande valar, delfiner i spel eller passerar fartyg, även om det regnar och blustery utanför. För privatlivet kan solrummet stängas av från sovrummet med en uppsättning glidande louver om du har barn som använder de två dagars sängarna i atriumet. Du kommer att älska utsikten från kungssängen i den mycket rymliga mästaren kan njuta av visa utan att ens behöva gå upp. Det finns en 40 tums tv i sovrummet, komplett med DVD-spelare. Den intilliggande master badrummet är väldigt stort och elegant ombyggd, med en generös storlek duschkabin och bubbelbadkar. Gäst sovrummet är möblerat med en queen size-säng och det finns en annan platt-TV så att du kan njuta av lugn tid på egen hand innan du går i pension för kvällen. Inuti gästbadet hittar du också tvättmaskin och torktumlare.

    Vardagsrummet är bekvämt inrett med en stor sektionssoffa, 55 "plattskärms-TV med DVD, en det finns även ett teleskop för närliggande whale-spotting eller tittar på surfarna. Direkt bakom vardagsrummet, med lika dramatisk havsutsikt tack vare den öppna planlösningen, är ett fullt utrustat kök med bänkskivor i granit, en kokplatta, elektrisk ugn, kylskåp, diskmaskin, köksredskap och tallrikar, mixer, kaffebryggare, och brödrost. Strandstolar, parasoller, boogie boards, snorklar / masker, poolleksaker och strandhanddukar är alla tillgängliga för din kul i solen vid poolen på fastigheten eller Hideaways Beach.

The property was magnificent. The views from the deck are beyond breathtaking. The kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty of room for 2 couples or a family.

Beautiful condo as advertised

We (a couple with 2 teenage girls) enjoyed our stay here. The condo is very spacious and could located a short walk from Hideaway beach. The path to the beach is a little steep but very manageable with the roped handrail to assist. We were provided with everything we needed to have a wonderful time including beach chairs, snorkels, mask, umbrella and boogie board.

Spacious condo with amazing views!

We enjoyed staying here so much. The ocean view was amazing! And the condo was clean and spacious with a large kitchen, which was very nice. There's a long daybed in front of the windows in the den where I took a nap everyday, while enjoying the ocean breeze. There are TWO beach paths, only a 3 minute walk away that take you to beautiful gorgeous beaches. My wife and I loved it here and would highly recommend this condo if you are visiting the Princeville/Hanalei area.

We were surprised at all the beach gear. We also liked to use the telescope to view the ocean.The bed was very comfortable as was the living room furniture. Our only issue was not being able to use the balcony much due to a plugged drain, keeping standing water over half the area must of the time. Overall, we could tell the owner has great attention to detail and wants everyone to have a great vacation.

The photos on the site, is what you get. Spent the month of February in this lovely apartment with fine appointments; sheets ,towels beds high quality. A terrific view of a delightful small surf spot and the Pacific beyond. Everything came with it: Snorkel gear, beach chairs, and even a chest of children's playthings.

View? yes. Big? yes. Needs TLC? Very yes.

The ocean view is unbeatable. Likely the best on Kauai's North Coast. The place is large, too. Lots of room to move around. However, the place doesn't look changed since the 80s and there are a number of deferred maintenance issues: weeds on the lanai, peeling paint, warped floors, rusting bathroom fixtures, etc. We realize that many adjacent condos go for much more pet night (some over 2x), but a little TLC wouldn't cost too much and would go a long way to make the unit considerably more comfortable.

Great place to stay

Everything was great as usual- the penthouse views are amazing, the condo is roomy and comfy - kitchen supplies are great and a good selection of games and books are available. The beach chairs were very much appreciated - but we couldn't find beach towels in the same place, and because they didn't look like traditional beach towels, we didn't find them for a day or so until the owner told us where to find them and what they looked like. Our only other inconvenience was difficulty with remotes and accessing cable channels. The instructions provided were inaccurate and not sufficient. We muddled our way through and mostly ended up watching Prime instead. Overall a great place to stay and we highly recommend it!

But for a clothes dryer,,,

This was our 5th stay in a Puu Poa condo, so we love the location on a bluff overlooking the ocean. We even saw whales the first 3 days! This condo is a little tired compared to others we’ve stayed in. What makes the location special is also very hard on the property, so you have window and door issues from corrosion. Our grandkids loved the pool and Hideaways Beach down the bluff from the condo. Minor issues were 2 non-working toasters (property managers got us a new one in a couple of days) and a barely functional coffee maker. The real bummer was the non-working clothes dryer which was not fixed until the last day of a 10 day stay. This was a big inconvenience.

Everything important done right

We stayed here for 11 days in March. Overall this property is outstanding. The location is second to none with amazing views access to two outstanding beaches and a large resort hotel. As several reviews have noted the sectional couch in the living room is worn and not comfortable. The sheets in the Master BR were also worn and in need of replacement. Some people may find the lack of air-conditioning to be an issue – however throughout our stay, we were comfortable except during a couple of afternoons when a shower is passed by in the wind died down. The unit is very well equipped in all respects, and the kitchen is equipped with the right amount of the right things that are new and up-to-date. We did have one issue in communications with the management company. They switched out of the app and started communicating through email without giving any notification that they were doing so. This caused some issues with us getting our check instructions in a timely way. Would definitely stay here again.

In need of updating and repairs

Fortunately, this was not the first time we were on Kauai (this was our 6th time), so we were not really upset when it absolutely poured rain (like I have never seen before) for six days and six nights - constantly. We had previously done all that Kauai had to offer. If we had not, this would have been a wasted stay. I am not exaggerating. Accordingly, we could not sit out on the beautiful lanai that overlooked the ocean. We could, however, hear the ocean. We absolutely froze the first few nights in the condo as many windows (eight) facing the ocean would not close. The main bedroom television did not work and four days after we reported it, someone finally showed up and said we needed a new cable box. We did not receive one during our stay. Other issues were similarly not addressed until the fourth day of our six day stay. "Property management" was severley lacking. The main bathroom sink faucet sprayed water everywhere. The locks did not work on either the lanai screen or sliding door. The kitchen was lacking in utensils and the bath towels were only average. The owners obviously do not trust renters with nicer things. We also stayed in a condo on Maui and a house on Oahu on this trip and this condo was the worst in terms of thinking of items renters may need or enjoy and in terms of quality. While this condo could be a wonderful place to stay, it needs updating, repairs (rusted mirrors, one large area of the floor was duct taped) and nicer accoutrements.

So close to amazing beaches and conveniently located to easily get out and explore other parts of the island. The condo was super comfortable. Kitchen had everything you could need for cooking. We had a couple issues with some things being broken/not working but the management company was really responsive and they sent a handy man to address the issues.
