The hotel was good. The bathroom needed maintenance, the bathroom door never could be closed completely. The mattresses need to be changed. We haven’t received the bill or receipt for the stay.

I absolutely LOVE this place. We will be back for sure. It was the perfect stay for our 25th anniversary. It's a charming, small boutique hotel with lovely staff and each room is unique with special touches. We stayed in Sol 2 for the first 4 days. It has a balcony with a view of the cathedral and bay and king size bed. Really tall trees prevent people from looking into the room so you can keep the curtains open and still have privacy, or close the black out shades for dark and quiet. We stayed in Tortugas 1 for 4 days on the 2nd floor- king bed, cool shady room by a fountain and lush courtyard. A/C in all rooms. Every morning from 7-10:30 they serve coffee, a fresh fruit plate and toast to each guest in an open dining area next to the kitchen. We often saw whales in the bay while eating. Both kitchens are open for all guests to use. The roof top pool and lounge is a wonderful luxury. It has a medium sized pool with a 180+ degree view of PV and the bay, a palapa covered sectional, loungers and several tables for eating or playing games. Excellent for sunset/sunrise, reading and cooling off after hiking up the hill. THIS PROPERY IS NOT FOR PEOPLE WITH MOBILITY LIMITATIONS. The walk to the property is up a VERY steep hill and the property is 4 stories without an elevator. It takes some getting used to the walk but in my opinion, this place is completely worth it. The exercise helped me justify my food and cocktail excesses. The staff are a delight as well.

The Luna Liquida Hotel is at the top of the hill, so the view is amazing if your suite faces that way. Ours did, we had the La Estrella room. Huge room, large bathroom, patio with chairs, nice decor.....but beware the metal spiral staircase up is not for everyone! They helped us up and down with luggage! Eclectic place, the parking was provided for 2 cars total, so be sure to book one. It's not easy to back into it on such a steep cobblestone hill, but we managed. They have a communal kitchen if you wish to store and or cook your own food. Easy walk to restaurants and the malacon if you can do hills. A continental breakfast was included....lots of fruit and coffee and a bit of toast. If you enjoy funky decor and all sorts of nooks and crannies, it's the place for you. We really enjoyed our night there. Met some fellow Canadians and everyone was pleasant and fun. I would stay there again.

When booking this hotel, you should know that it has a shared kitchen area with a shared fridge for all units. There’s a total of two shared kitchens on the property. Other than that stay was pleasant normal neighborhood noise such as barking dogs and vehicles great place to meet new people on vacation because of the shared eating area in the kitchen. Had a great stay. Thank you to everybody at the resort for your great hospitality and friendliness. Guest should know that hotel is up on a hill so there is some challenging areas to walk both to and from hotel

Luna Liquida is a special & unique place. Quite beautiful and an incredible view, and the multi-level accomodations allows for privacy. On a side note, the staff found my wallet and brought it to me without my having noticed Id lost it, so I am quite grateful. Gracias.

This hotel is a lovely little sanctuary overlooking the bay. Beautiful sunsets, views of the lights and of the central cathedral. A friendly camaraderie amongst guests. The hotel is full of traditional artwork and design. A perfect,light breakfast is served. Be prepared for a pretty steep hike or to take a taxi up.

Stunning views. Lovely hotel inside with lots of attractive features.Nice staff and enjoyed the breakfast. Quiet a steep hill which might be an issue if you have limited mobility but fine for most people and taxis are cheap. Loved it!

The location was perfect , the price is great, and the hospitality they provide is wonderful. The room we stayed at had AC and a television. The television didn’t work properly and the configuration of the remotes didn’t make sense but we spent very little time in the room so it wasn’t that big of a problem. The rooftop view and pool is great! They have lounge chairs and provide towels for you up there. Do note that this hotel is located at the top of a hill so for some it could be difficult to reach but we don’t mind getting more steps and a workout while on vacation. They speak some English. The rooms could use some updates but for the price and service they give you I highly recommend. Id for sure consider staying here again.

This is a tough one. There's a lot to like, location, the people who serve breakfast and take care of the room. I wanted to rate it higher, but... This room is accessed via a winding staircase around a large tree. Charming, so long as you are good on your feet. The views are wonderful. So, why not a higher rating? Late one night, it started to rain. Soon, it was raining inside the room, the top of the bed (and us) and down a wall with electrical outlets. We had to muscle a very heavy wood bed frame and bed out of the way. The room has a thatched roof and leaked rainwater in several places. A staff person helped us spread towels and find dry bedding. The next morning, talking to the manager, it seemed appropriate to ask for some sort of refund. She agreed - but never did a thing about it. A nice handyman came to the room and put up some plastic where the leak seemed the worst, but if it rains again, you will need a forecast for inside the room as well as outside. A couple of other points. There's no A/C in this room. In the bathroom, the cold water side of the sink did not work - at all. But the shower mostly sprayed cold or sort of warm water. This is not meant to be a litany of complaints, so let me conclude with this. This is a small, boutique hotel and every room is different. So, you may find one you like.

It's a nice small hotel with a stunning view over the entire bay from the rooftop. Depending on the room that you have booked, sometimes it can get a bit noisy at times, but not really a downgrade, we would stay there again. From Its good location you don't have to walk long to zona romantica, or the malecon. The hotel stuff was always friendly and helpful if we needed anything, and kept everything clean and neat, thank you to all of them for the great experience.

Beautiful hotel, great art and care to detail. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The rooftop patio and pool had an unbeatable view. Very friendly staff as well. Just be prepared to do a lot of stairs!

Tout était idéal pour un séjour de 10 jours. La chambre Sol 3 avec son balcon donnant une vue imprenable sur la mer, la piscine sur le toit avec encore une meilleure vue sur l’océan pour contempler les baleines, le petit déjeuner avec ses fruits à tous les jours et que dire des p’tits salon à proximité de notre chambre pour relaxer Le seul inconvénient, comme l’hôtel est situé à flanc de montagne il faut être en forme pour se taper les 200 quelques marches journalières

The five stars are for the view. It’s spectacular. It could be a bit cleaner, and the pool need some tlc All in all a great hotel with minor issues The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast after 8 days a bit boring. I would stay again.
