Our stay this time was a bit disappointing compared to our first visit.
First, check in was extremely delayed. Check in was supposed to be at 3:00 PM, but our room was not ready until after 4:30 PM. After a long day of traveling, that was frustrating and exhausting.
The cleanliness of the bathroom could have been better. The toilet and the area underneath it were dirty, which was not what we expected.
We also had issues with the phone in our room. It would ring repeatedly and we could not reach the front desk or order room service. We were told the phones were not working, but unfortunately no one ever came to repair it during our stay.
Another concern was the door lock in our room not working properly, which made us feel a little uneasy about security.
The electrical setup in the room was also confusing. Sometimes the bathroom lights worked and sometimes they did not, and there were no clear instructions on how to reset it.
We also booked an “ocean view” room, but our room ended up being the furthest away from the ocean, which was disappointing.
On a positive note, the entertainment team did a great job. Johnny Bravo and Kenny were fantastic and really made our stay memorable. They brought great energy and made the shows fun and engaging.
Macao Beach is also one of our favorite beaches, although lately the waters have been a little rough.
This was our second time visiting this resort. Our first experience was amazing, which is why we returned. This time it fell short.
